Series starts on Friday. Pakistan to play their first ODI since June 18th. SL meanwhile, are in poor ODI form. Having lost their last series 5-0 to India.

Not sure if Haris or Shehzad should play tbh. Playing Shehzad would mean that pretty much the same batting order would remain from previous match. And Shezzy is the better fielder. Haris though is in good form and is the better batsman.

Haris is must as far as shehzad is concerned I think he will be better than imam ul haq
so stick with both shehzad and haris

I am sure Shehzad will be opening now with no Azhar A.. He was a complete failure in champions trophy yet just because we won the guy managed to retain his spot else he would be the first one to be shown the door given his lack of performance for last 6 months. This will be the likely team for 1st ODI.

Hope we keep our izzat in our best format. We are definitely missing Amir. To make matters worse Inzi the revolutionary selected his bhanja without any merit and Usman Shinwari who lands each ball of the over in completely different quadrant of the pitch.

I don't see a need for Hafeez in the line up if Malik is playing as both are offering the same thing.

But as you said Hafeezs will probably play in place of Harris

This is will be an interesting series. Will be interesting to see if the CT win was a false dawn for Pakistan, or are they really becoming a good team. Can SL recover in ODIs like they did in Tests, or are they really a poor ODI team. So much drama this one has.

Babar was batting at 3 in the CT. It won't change.
