If PCB has any brain they could make Sarfraz in ODI captain and build a strong team.
Same team will struggle under Azhar

Although I believe azhar is poor odi captain, this performance is due to poor batting

As I said, they're batting as if they're still on a Lauderhill phatta and where they could exploit the small boundaries.

Plus poor field setting and bowling change. Give him Wasim and Waqar and he will still put wrong field setting. A total timid and selfish guy. Both Waqar and Misbah should be blamed to choose this lulloo as captain when Misbah himself never choosen him in ODI squad in his time
 
What they are doing right now, this was needed by the openers and the 3 other guys that followed....

This is not USA, IND or those usual flat pancakes that are served globally. This is the UAE Boys :D

India in Tests has much worse pitches than these though.

Give Azhar Waqar and Wasim and Pakistan would win at least 50% of their matches.
 
Looks like, we are watching a great French Open Cricket on Dubai Garros. PAK might get away with this one as Sarfu opted to bowl (Standard operating process is Bat first, even on 9 AM start, in a gloomy London Morning, against even Mac, Fleming & Riffle). BUT, it's a blunder to play Wahab here - WI still can make a match of it, if they can keep wickets & Wahab has his day on this track.

Nasim was a must for this match & still WI can prove that.

In Tests No one produces flat pancakes, not even India, so my post was actually for LOIs in general. The pitch is just fine, you need to play proper cricket instead of baseball on surfaces like these.

Clearly West Indies do not have the cricketing acumen and application required to iron out a tough aggressive approach by a bowling unit. If they don't get their act together quickly, Yasir/Amir/Rahat/Wahab/Imran will make a mockery of their batting order come the Tests.
 
Guys don't get your foot of the pedal, these can still hurt and change the game on its head, but the boys seems to getting complacent, keep up the intensity.

Low scoring wicket, and we know WI can win if the cross 140 somehow.
 
Key to playing Imad Wasim is, play him like a left arm medium pacer.

All Imad is doing is bowl fast and straight.

West Indies players are playing for spin and getting cleaned up.
 
Biggest drawback of Waqar not being coach... listening to him in the commentary box :yk
