come to think of it, if its likely we only go in with two pacers, maybe opening with gul today isnt that bad a call to see if he can actually bowl with the new ball, which he obvioulsy cant.

afridi should have brought in junaid though. i dont think for a heavy spin attack, gul would make my playing xi. he lacks too much new ball control. id probably go with shoaib and wahab, and have a look at junaid to see if he's any good.
