If you mean me I will still say his selection has not been good so far, another specialist spinners would have eaten up NZ. Imad May take few lucky wicekts when pressure is on but he is not the answer.

Salman Butt scored 1 century at Eden Gardens and he was the next Saeed Anwar. Nasir Jamshed scored 3-4 centuries against India and he was the next Saeed Anwar. Amir does well in 1 series in England - the next Wasim Akram.

Shadab's 3 wicket burst is great but this doesn't happen even 2 times out of 10. Just because he got 3 wickets in 1 over doesn't mean that Shadab is incredible for ODI cricket or that he will become one of the greatest Pakistani ODI spinners. He is a good T20 bowler and that's about it. He's done well in this game though.

It's not in the spirit of the game. If a batsman feels a player is chucking he can let his captain know who in turn can complain to the referee.... gesturing that a bowler is chucking in the middle of the match is quite low.

Did you predict ABD becoming a player he became when he was avging early-mid 30s after 20 odd tests or Amla who was averaging 20 odd after 16 test matches. Shadab is just 19 and players take time to develop.
