First time I've heard such a theory...I'm not suggesting make green wickets ....but make sporting wickets....these 550 runs first innings test matches bore everyone.....test matches in south africa barely ever end in a draw without stupid 200 run partnerships etc or wickets falling due to plain bad luck.....

its not a question of advantage or no advantage ..its a question of boring cricket ....

I'd rather see South africa lose a close fought test match...than watch 5 days of batsman domination played out to a tame draw...
