SL team looks extremely week. This team is even weaker than the one which took on India at home. Pakistan should easily win this one.

Seems Haris Sohail being given a debut

It will be very hard to face Hearth in the 4th Innings. SL has good opportunity to win this match

Here's to hoping we only bat once and not have to go through the second innings on a 4th or 5th day vs their spinners.

How's the pitch?

Looks like there will be steep bounce and sharp carry through to the keeper. The ball will probably do a lot off the seam especially on day 1, because of all the grass. The cloud cover means plenty of swing too.

A big test for Haris sohails fitness , fielding in UAE for 90 overs in the heat will sure test his fitness.

Brainless selection by the management. In a spin track selecting 3 fast bowlers is criminal. Also we have a Walking wicket called Shan. Sami is too slow even for 70s standard of test cricket and build pressure on others.

Really exciting team selection (Shan aside). Can't wait to see Hasan and Amir bowl together

Rather than Herath I'm more afraid of Lakshan Sandakan. Our batsmen always seem to struggle against Rookies, and he is left-arm Chinaman - an unknown commodity for our batsmen.

Amir Hassan Abbas need to bowl 16 overs each = 48

22 over for Yasir takes the total to 70

10 10 overs each from Azhar and Harris. A little too much I guess

18 overs each for Amir, Hasan and Abbas =54.

24 overs for Yasir Shah and 12 overs combined for Haris and Azhar.

No way Haris and Azhar are going to bowl 20 overs collectively, given also the fact that Azhar has some problems with his knee.

dont think azhar will be bowling , he already has knees issues.

Smart to go in with just 1 front line spinner in a game in the UAE??

Shami and Yadav were running through these openers every innings with their eyes closed

There was movement on offer off the pitch in the initial few overs...

so we can expect Pak to score 700+ on this pitch.

I think its time we accept Shami is the best test pacer in sub cont will outbowl Amir 8 times off 10.

I don't think anyone has said Amir is the best test pacer in Asia.

waiting for his fans to make this excuse he is still finding his feet back in international cricket have patience.

Give the guy a break. He just won a world tournament for us which Shami et al couldn't do.

3 pacers in Abu Dhabi ?

We'll do well to bowl SRL out cheaply in these conditions. Not ideal we have to bowl first either.

Someone get Ramiz off air, spitting more rubbish than usual.

'Cautious' Kaushal Silva, WTH is he on about. :)))

Yasir has to fire otherwise we are screwed boy wonder has confirmed his spot for next 2 years based on CT final performance.
