Difficult day ahead for Pakistan.

Sri Lanka well placed on 254/3

More bad news for us. Amir is injured.

According to reports:
Amir went off the field towards the end of the first day with a problem with his left shin. The team did not say much more than that, though the suspicion was that it could be shin splints. Pakistan will assess Amir's fitness ahead of play on the second day.

Amir's gonna bowl. Hopefully we can get a couple early wickets and get back in the game

Sri Lanka have a long tail. Some early wickets and we can dismiss them for a under par score.

It seems we are in for a long day.. yasir and Abbas are the only here.. but for that Abaas needs to pitch it up..

When Sri Lanka will declare!!!! Tired to see pathetic bowling again and again

1 hr before the end of the play at best. They are in no hurry here .. wdnt be surprised if they don’t declare at all..

450-500+ is likely only a collapse in the second innings can Pakistan win from here.

Our fast bowlers are lacking variations. How about trying a yorker or slower balls?

Our bowling looks equally bad like Bangladesh team. Our batsmen should learn from Karunaratne how to bat on these types of pitch

Yasir taking wickets no penetration from the other end it wasn't out no review interesting.

Dickwella is a very talented player. He isn't going to hang around. Need to get him, an hour of him and Lankans will be firmly in the driving seat.

shaz619 rates Dickwella very highly.

Hope we can cut him down quickly or else this game will get out of hand.

It was a blessing in disguise Chandimal getting out Dickwella might pummel tired bowlers.

The run rate is pathetic, they will need another 50+ overs to cross 500 at this rate

This is as flat a bowling performance as I can remember. Sri Lanka look like they can score 500+ and bat us out of the series.

Sri Lanka have a long tail, Chandimal should have used his brains and asked for a review as they don't have many good batsmen left. Gifted a free wicket to Pakistan.

Here comes Abbas, ExpressPacer your favourite :)) :akhtar

We need Adil Rashid on this wicket to surprise the batsman with a pie they've never ever seen before, it would catch them off guard :yk

Chadimal wicket was a blessing for Sri Lanka.. The run rate has gone 2 times since Dickwella came in. Chandi was playing too slow against easy bowling.

That's the difference in thinking.
There are 5 Lankans batsman and a WK who are threatening to score around 500. And there there's 6 Pakistani batsmam and a WK and still couldn't chase 136. If 5 batsman can't score, so can't 6 batsman.

It is not a blessing as Sri Lanka tail will start even if they lose just one more wicket, gifting free wicket and not using reviews when you have 2 reviews left and last 2 batting partnerships left is stupidity.

Sri Lanka got bowled out for 138 aswell.

Which team is coming off a 9-0 whitewash again ?

Pakistan looking devoid of energy, SL batting positively with Dickwella at the crease.

SL are going to win / draw this Test, what a horrendous start for Mickey Arther and co under the new generation.

In 1st test match too Dickwella's innings was the game changer.. while other batsmen played at strike rate of less than 40, he score 86 at sr of 70+. Playing at sr of 40 won't win you many matches.

hahahahahahah wahab . look at mickey mein nhi dekhraha yeh bc

2nd innings we will have bowlers Haris, Babar, Shan and Shafiq.

This was Wahab's chance to fight for his place in the squad and he's performing even worse than before

Mickey Arther looks like he wants to run onto the pitch to clothesline all the bowlers :)) Hasan123

pakistan have seriously underestimated Sri Lankans here and exaggeratedly overestimated themselves

Micky knows how to act with craft. He is in wrong industry. Had he play in the Hollywood films he could get couple of Oscar prizes.

Wrong!!!! Our team is over hyped with few quality players. Sri Lanka is better than us

We can also thank PCB for their appalling scheduling and lack of planning.

With a new team we needed to get some fixtures under our belt to find the right combinations but our board stupidly cancelled the Bangladesh tour with no replacement.

We sat on our backsides for three months after the Champions Trophy doing nothing. Sethi was more interested in his World XI vanity project than our biggest priority which is the national team. No wonder we look flat and rusty.

Then we shorten this Test series to 2 Tests leaving NO margin for error with a new, young team putting our UAE unbeaten streak at risk. Obviously our team selections and tactics has compounded matters.

Lucky the tour did not take place other wise it would be another whitewash. This time in test as well

Our next test series is in England. It will be early in that English summer so the conditions will be cloudy more than likely. These conditions won't favour Wahab at all so I hope he isn't selected for that test series. Furthermore I hope it's the beginning of the end for him. We have given him so many chances and so many years to improve but he is still bowling no balls and also still inconsistent with his line and length after 7 years of international cricket. We must move on.
