Our opening bowlers have been whacked all over the park. Tharanga surprised me with his knock. Normally he is the kind of guy that looks for singles and builds an innings. He has changed his game plan accordingly

pretty much standard for 20/20......i wouldn't say 'wacked around the park' when this form of cricket can see run rates of over 10
 
I´m afraid that Asif will be smacked around even in test matches now when the batsmen get used to slog him around.

The modern day trend seems to be that the first few overs from the quicks go for plenty and then the spinners claw it back.

If I were Pakistan I would play only 2 pacemen and the rest pack the team with spinners (Hafeez, Alam, Malik and Afridi)

fill the team full of spinners? once everything becomes one paced there'll be plenty of 30 runs per over incidents

the key is to have variation in teh attaack

Gul hasn't. He will be used during the death overs it seems. Hafeez bowled the 8th over, conceeded 5 runs

As far as I am concerned Hafeez is a must in Twenty/20 cricket. I would play him ahead of Butt.

Can bowl, a better fielder than Butt and can probably score as many runs as Butt will.

Anythin around 160 should be an even game.

If around 180 or above then SL may have an upper hand.

This is going to be another easy win for Pakistan. Shame because we need to be tested by someone for when we come up against the likes of Australia in the 20-20 cup.

I think we will be given around 180 to chase and against the bowling attack of SL it will be somewhat challenging

I don't think they will get to 180

but really they needed 200+ to put up any fight.
