harris sohail dropped and asad shafiq given another chance and to add to all this we will have to bear anwar ali once again :Facepalm
 
Why the hell is hammad dropped, he didn't even got to bat, talk about backing youngsters, pathetic, and anwar sober ali still there, what he has to do to get dropped, perhaps to concede six sixes every over he bowl.

They should have dropped Shafiq & not Haris.

Junaid deserved a game at home as well.

Should've had Haris Sohail ahead of Asad Shafiq though.
 
In my opinion they could have dropped Hafeez to accomadate Babar if they wanted to give Asad Shafiq one more chance.

Calm down guys. Hammad is playing. but shafiq should have been dropped instead of haris,should have let him build on his confidence.
 
No point in dropping Shafiq after one match after making a comeback to the team, it doesn't make sense.

Malik is finally getting some runs under his belt so no point in resting him at the moment while Haris' place is secure so resting him in a dead rubber is not a big deal.

Would have preferred Rizwan to have played ahead of Sarfraz, but I'm happy with Trundler Khan replacing Sami, he has been warming the bench for way too long now.

Haris Sohail should have continued though, Ideal conditions and opportunity for him to ger his first List A Ton.

That's how I see it as well. Haris has done enough that his place is secure which is why he is being rested. Asad still has to prove himself so given another chance today though would have liked to have seen someone else replacing Anwar Ali..
 
Relieved Sami is dropped... The most rubbish bowler Pakistan has produced...Even Rao Iftikhar was better
 
Good to see Hammad playing. I thought he was dropped :))

Shafiq deserved to be booted and Haris should've kept his place.
 
So happy Shehzad hasn't gotten a game this series. Keep this guy on the bench!

no point of him Shafique a comeback and h should make use of that golden chance but he knows that he is the golden boy and now that Azhar Ali is captain , he cant be dropped easily

How many times will people ask this? Babar is not an opener. He's a Top 4 player, but this guy plays at #3 and #4 in domestic too.
 
Malik or Hafeez should have been rested- no haris or shafiq- that way hammad gets to bowl more too.

We need Haris to give every opportunity to build on his start to his career.
 
Babar usually bats at no 4 in domestic competitions. Malik should bat at 3 with Babar coming in at 4.
 
Hammad Azam can be given a go at number 4 too. Just to check his batting abilities. What say Ppers?

Imad was a pointless selection, should have picked Tanvir who could have challenged Anwar.

Regardless of the hate he gets, he is comfortably a better bowler than Anwar and Bhatti.

Imad Wasim looks a poor player from what I've seen so far and he will be filtered out soon without getting a good run.

Can he hit big ? Not really, he is a proper batsmen who relies more on strokeplay.
Very good on the backfoot.
 
To those infuriarated about Haris being "dropped", calm down. It's not that he has fallen out of favor. In fact, it means the opposite. He has cemented his spot in the team for quite some time now with his runs in BAN and against ZIM.

He was dropped out of necessity as they needed to try out another middle-order batsman as the Shafiq experiment isn't working out. Yet you still can't drop Shafiq because the management still has hope that a fluent innings is just around the corner.

Malik can't be dropped because he provides experience. Hafeez is an all-rounder who chips in with the ball and is just finding his form thus Haris - being the most consistent with the bat was dropped. Sounds strange but I hope you guys catch my drift. Basically, its a shootout between Shafiq and Babar for who plays in SL.

Good decision to drop Haris, he's been fantastic for us in recent times, we need to branch out to more batsmen to extend our range.

I wish this could have been done for the bowlers as well.
 
Both batsmen looking like theyre suffering a mild stroke just before committing to the shot.
 
Hafeez for all his shortcomings, is the only batsman in the team capable of scoring a 200, and he won't get a better chance than this one.
