Godail is a very fine gentleman and will be an asset for party but i am not very much sure about joinings from MQM because in MQM even a khamba used to win thanks to muhajir vote for Altaf. Remember Nabeel Gabol when he joined MQM he ended up getting 180k votes lol.

Fine guy. He stood out to me when I listened to IK's speeches in NA. He was always seated right behind him and listened attentively. Always had a fleeting thought that he might join PTI someday.
That said, his success in converting his MQM votebank to PTI remains to be seen. Regardless, would be an asset to the party in Karachi.

Grouping and internal issues already started as expected.
Aamir Liaqat denied ticket by Karachi leadership and he already started his tamasha on Twitter thanks to the useless Karachi leadership of PTI. I have 100s of differences with ALH but he have more chances of wining a seat from Karachi than Naqvi, Ismails, Alvis and Vawdas. Now only IK can decide if he can be given a ticket or not. ALH maybe at fault here too according to some he didn't submitted any application for ticket.
Aamir Kayani ticket of NA53 is confirmed this is the safest seat of PTI but now it can go either way because local leadership is against him.
In another report Ali Mohammad Khan is denied ticket by Pervez Khattak for doing zero work on ground.

Make no mistakes about it this book could be very damaging for IK even if half of it is fabricated bull crap. I think IK should pay her off and make her go mum.... She is a character less woman it won't be too much for IK to afford.

Even if SKMCH fundraising wasn't on still it wasn't possible for IK to handle each issue i mean it's not possible for a single person to confirm 1100 tickets, fix grouping issues on all those hundreds of constituencies after ticket allocations etc he needed good advisors around him but everyone looks like an opportunist yeh sab yeh baat bhool rahe hen ke party na jeete to inko khaak faayda nae hona so apna faayda chor ker filhal party ka faayda sochen.

Karachi President of PTI right now (last one was Ali Zaidi). Shamim is part of the board allocating tickets for Karachi. Firdous Shamim Naqvi is with the PTI from the very beginning that's why the nazryaati factor gives him an edge over newcomers.

Bhai logically it's not possible for Khan to verify and confirm 1100 (NA+PA) tickets so he will have to trust his advisers.
Another news right now is that Kayani himself withdrawn from NA-53? Or there was some voting in the board meeting and ch ilyas mehrban got more votes. KP board meeting was still on till late night and if i go by Ali Mohammad tweet and rumors he isn't getting any ticket this time. The thing is he remained missing from constituency just like Murad Saeed.
Another news about ALH is that he was being given ticket on his home constituency but he wants NA-245 a safer seat

There are quite a many easy choices for tickets also. Imran has to rely on in put provided from different sources and different people. In the end it has to be his decision. These board members won't have dispute on every constituency so whenever a debate or close call, it has to be made by Imran himself.

I believe CJ made a little mistake here by directly criticizing him. In Peshawar CJ was also not impressed by Dr. Nosherwan Barki .... No one had protested at that though.

Salary of doctor saeed and his wife shouldn't have been targeted that's peanuts for a qualified surgeon but CJ should have targeted the irregularities in the development of this hospital costing 20 billions and why the dr was made in charge of even the development. And now noonies and lifafas are doing the propaganda making it look like it was going to be the only kidney transplant hospital in Pakistan although SIUT in Karachi is already doing it.

Yep just checked he had 71k votes on this seat back in 2013 on PTI ticket and winner was PMLN candidate with 93k votes. The third one on this was a PPP candidate with 28k and looks like a relative of PTI candidate both are Pirs and Qureshi. Interestingly all top 3 candidates on this seats were Pirs one was Bodla and 2 were Qureshi

One can see change is happening in Pakistan with more people coming out in support of Imran Khan.
But at the same time, it's so cringe-worthy watching some of the responses that people have for justifying support for PMLN.

Looks like Fehmida Mirza and Zulfiqar Mirza are joining GDA instead of PTI. There were multiple reports last month that they would be joining PTI, reports from my sources in PTI too. Still a good outcome though, less seats for PPP, more for GDA (a potential coalition partner for PTI).
That's the best solution, never felt comfortable welcoming Fehmida or Zulfiqar Mirza so best thing if they join GDA which means PPP will be impacted and no real loss for PTI either.

To show impartiality, the SC is giving some poor judgements including the reversing of Khawaja Asif’s disqualification and invalidating the verdict in the election nomination form case.
By the looks of it, Nawaz Sharif may be able to escape jail term.

PTI have said that they will not make an alliance with GDA, though they did say the same for PML-Q but I think they are doing seat adjustments with them?
Wouldn't be a bad idea to do seat adjustments on a few seats, both NA and PA. Doing so really create a good chance of PPP losing a few NA seats as well as losing Sindh government. Looking at the current situation, PPP only need to lose about 10 PA seats to potentially be out of government.

If the Mirzas joined PTI then it probably would have cost PTI big time in Karachi. Them going GDA, seems to be the best possible scenario for PTI.

Correction, if they lose just 5 seats, they can potentially be out of government.
There are 130 directly elected seats in the Sindh Assembly, meaning 66 needed for a majority. PPP won 70 last time. If just 5 seats flip to PTI or GDA (or anyone else), we could potentially be looking at an anti PPP grand coalition government in Sindh, probably led by MQM, with PTI and GDA as major coalition partners, while PSP etc pitch in a few seats.

I would really appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to tell me the situation in terms of PTI's chances in the following areas: (if you can give some info on electable joining pti from these areas that had won from another party in 2013)
1. Sialkot (5 mna seats up for grabs).
2. Gujranwala (6 mna seats up for grabs, normally a noon league stronghold-Imran has to concentrate here).
3. Sarghoda (5 mna seats up for grabs).
4.Faisalabad (a whopping 10 seats up for grabs).
5. Pakpattan (2 mna seats available).
6. Sahiwal ( 3 mna seats up for grabs this time and pti won one from here last time).
7. Multan (6 mna seats up for grabs).
8. Vehari (4 mna seats up for grabs).
9. Okara (4 mna seats up for grabs).
10. Sheikhupura (4 mna seats up for grabs).
11. Toba Tek Singh ( 3 mna seats up for grabs).
12. Jhang (3 mna seats up for grabs).
Taking Lahore out of it, the above are vital Punjab areas that I feel will make or break these elections. These are 55 seats that pti will have to somehow get as much as they can from. Most of these were pmln in 2013 but if Imran is to win the elections he will have to get 35 or so seats from the above areas alone, maybe more.
Can someone please provide information on his chances from the above mentioned areas and the latest developments from here in terms of electables that have joined from the above areas in terms of seats and the current scenario?

Fair enough, this seems to be worst case scenario but i would be highly disappointed with anything less than this.

That's not good enough.
In this scenario it will still mean noon league will have 90 or so seats and they will comfortably form government with Mqm, and other noon league supporting Mna's joining in.
Imran needs to aim for 100 strong seats overall. This is a difficult task but not an impossible one. I'm fine with electables joining if it means PTI come into power. Any baggage or electable clean up needing to be done can be done afterwards.
The next 3 weeks are crucial.
1. Sialkot (1/5).
2. Gujranwala (3/6 ).
3. Sarghoda (2/5 ).
4.Faisalabad (a whopping 5/10 ).
5. Pakpattan (1/2 ).
6. Sahiwal ( 1/3 ).
7. Multan (3/6 ).
8. Vehari (3/4).
9. Okara (0/4).
10. Sheikhupura (2/4 ).
11. Toba Tek Singh ( 2/3).

We have been naming strong candidates in lot of these constituencies, maybe we can go in further details when i have bit of time.
Based on above estimate, i believe PTI has strong chance of winning around 25 of those seats as we have very strong candidates on quite of few of those constituencies especially Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Jhang, Sheikhupura, Toba Tek Singh, Vehari and Multan.

Or even stand for Karachi mayor... I don't think he has capabilities for national politics, he is more in tune with Karachi development etc
True that but just symbolic to give someone a chance at highest level who has worked on ground and enjoys good reputation. I agree though, probably more suited for provincial seat.
