Is it just me or anyone else also noticed that PMLN never attacked SMQ the VC of PTI but their guns are always pointing at Tareen? (even before the electables joinings the trend was same)

SMQ does not overly criticize N league either. After ditching PPP both N league and PTI wanted him in their party but SMQ saw better deal with PTI.

JKT was planning a clean party of clean politicians even before 2011 PTI jalsa but when PTI emerged as third force he joined this party. He was going both against N league and PPP when PTI was not yet established as a political force. There was an article in Dawn around 2010 that establishment was trying to create third force with the help of people like JKT. It is not clear however whether launch of a 3rd political force was a mission of JKT or establishment because very shortly afterwards 3rd force in PTI came to the fore.

It does not mean that SMQ still has links with N league , JKT only has had more clout, with his riches, his influence over electables and his reported closeness with establishment. JKT is clearly more powerful than SMQ , that's why N league attack him more.
Furthermore, SMQ and his zamanat zabat group are those who are bringing party disagreements to the media and N league are simply trying to score a point or two with that narrative that PTI does not has clean people in their ranks either. They are just traditional as N league or any other political party.

Salaam everyone.

I think final candidates for each constituency will be announced in the next three or four days so we can inshallah begin predictions.

I must commend Jehangir Khan Tareen. He has nothing to gain from these elections in terms of seats etc but the manner in which he has clinically increased Imran's chances by working tirelessly to convince electables is the sort of effort that wins you an election.

He's not in politics for the money. He had his own epiphany that led him to join Imran a few years ago and he is working hard for Naya Pakistan. Also Chaudry Sarwar has been working hard behind the scenes.

Let's not be too harsh on SMQ. He's quite a good guy but he's finding it difficult to release himself from baraadari/clan politics. Despite this flaw he's a tremendous asset and he's going to be very effective when PTI comes into government inshallah.

PTI made huge mistakes in 2013 in preparing for the elections. They've made mistakes again now in the run up to these elections but they are getting better.

These things happen and it's not easy.

But inshallah it will all come together on July 25th.

But these guys need to leave their egos behind for the greater good. SMQ needs to concentrate on the south as this is his main sphere of influence and Let JKT do his job.

ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Hussain Shiekh alias Munna Sheikh has declared assets worth billions of rupees in his nomination papers for the forthcoming elections.

Surprisingly, the candidate has not paid a single penny in taxes despite possessing such a fortune.

Sheikh contesting from NA-182 and PP-270 declared his assets details having a total value of Rs 4.3 trillion. In his affidavit, Hussain said he had 350 acres land, gardens, three houses and household appliances.

Supreme Court of Pakistan had earlier given verdict in Sheikh's favour for possession of land in five districts in a case heard for 88 years.

Yea i remember that Hum Khayal Group and JKT was trying to lead it (Haroon Brothers, Saifullah family, Chathas, Lagharis etc were part of it) but those opportunists had others plans ditched JKT in the middle and jumped the ship so JKT was left with no choice. JKT have been asking to impose agriculture tax from years and he was the first MNA to stand in NA and declare his assets. JKT influence and money is what makes SMQ insecure even thought he is the VC.

PMLN announce ticket for Sheikh Waqas in Jhang but he refuse to take it and decides to go independent. Asim Nazir in faisalabad did same. PMLn have given 5 tickets to 1 guy alone this gives you the idea of how strong their narrative is :yk

PMLN and PTI both left NA154 Multan open for Sikandar Bosan. PMLN is ready to give him ticket but he don't want he is more interested in PTI ticket but PTI workers in Multan hate him specially SMQ and they are protesting already trying to stop leadership from giving him and his brother any ticket. Interesting times ahead :))

At this stage only PTI cant beat PTI (and that's already happening at different levels.)

SMQ thinks we are dumb? He is saying Tareen organised the dherna outside Bani Gala while most of us know SMQ is the one close to nazryaatis and and the demands of the workers are what SMQ have been saying. For example dherna people were saying don't give ticket to Bosan in Multan (and guess what SMQ is against Bosan not Tareen)

SMQ is against Bosan,Aun Abbas Bappi and Nazir jutt family. SMQ also wants seat adjustment with Jamshed Dasti. JKT has different position on these cases. SMQ also did not want ticket be awarded to Ibrahim Khan in Multan but to Nawab Liaqat.

These differences come from SMQ. JKT has not h=gone public with inside fighting though.

ISLAMABAD: A fresh batch of leaked documents of Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca reveals how the release of Panama Papers triggered panic among the firm and its clients, several of them Pakistanis who had to change their plans of hiding wealth abroad amid fear of yet another leak.

Following the leak, a person nominated by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) for interim prime minister, who had also been chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), abandoned the process of opening two accounts in Swiss banks through his two benami shell companies which came to surface earlier but their ownership was unknown.

Former attorney general Justice (r) Malik Qayyum disassociated himself from the benami company. Its Swiss bank account had Qayyum and his wife as signatories. Samina Durrani, the mother of Tehmina Durrani, ‘gifted’ one offshore company holding property in the UK to Asimullah Durrani, her son, a few months after the release of Panama Papers.

A Pakistani banker in the Middle East, Saleem Sheikh, was found seeking an explanation from the law firm about the steps taken to prevent any embarrassment in future through yet another leak. Instead of replying to his concern, Mossack Fonseca served him notice in April 2017 together with other Pakistani passport holders having companies in British Virgin Islands to change their registered agent as ‘an administrative decision has been taken to resign as registered agent/office for companies with links to high-risk countries.’

Pakistan is among those 21 countries declared prohibited for business by BVI in April 2017. Nielsen and Nescoll, the offshore companies owned by the Sharif family had changed their agent in 2014 hence no detail was found in the latest leak.

The newly obtained documents also bring under spotlight financial details of sports celebrities like soccer superstar Lionel Messi, politicians like Argentine president’s family and a former Kuwaiti official convicted for looting his country’s social security system.

The fresh leak comprises 1.2 million documents which date from a few months before April 2016 (when 11.5 million Panama Papers were released) onward to December 2017. The documents were leaked to Munich-based Süddeutsche Zeitung, which shared them with International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ).

The Mossack Fonseca announced its closure in March this year due to what it describes the reputational deterioration. The new leak reveals how the embattled law firm scrambled to contain the fallout from the leak and identify its own clients. A couple of months after the firm became aware of its records had been leaked, it was unable to identify owners of more than 70 percent of 28,500 active companies in the British Virgin Islands, its busiest offshore hub, and 75 percent of 10,500 active shell companies in Panama.

‘Know your client’ law makes it obligatory for a financial institution to know who they are doing business with and what’s their past – a due diligence process often ignored.

Two such anonymous companies were legally represented by Justice (r) Malik Qayyum: Camberwell Financial Limited and Fernbridge Resources Inc. The former is registered in the British Virgin Islands and the latter in Panama. Who is the beneficial owner remains unknown todate. Both were used for opening accounts in LGT Bank Switzerland Ltd wherein Malik Qayyum was a signatory of the account (his wife was co-signatory of the account opened in the name of Fernbridge Resources Inc.)

When contacted for his version a week before the release of Panama Papers on April 4, 2016, Qayyum said Fernbridge had been his client and he couldn’t disclose details about the owner. About his wife as co-signatory, he explained the client required two signatories and his wife was travelling with him. “It is my practice to normally have a trusted backup signatory in such transactions,” he had said.

Two Panama-based companies owned by the PPP nominee for interim PM who also happened to be the president of a bank in last PPP government would have remained anonymous had this fresh leak not made possible. Tavendish Engineering SA and Jeflian Investment SA were part of documents leaked earlier but the ownership was kept secret.

As companies were in process of opening bank accounts at Swiss bank, LGT Bank, (where companies represented by Qayyum also had accounts), it was made known he, his wife and son are the beneficial owners. They, however, changed mind regarding opening bank accounts after the release of Panama Papers fearing the secrecy they look for is vulnerable to leaks.

The release of Panama Papers also hurried the transfer of a company from mother (Samina Durrani) to her son (Asimullah Durrani). In March 2016, when contacted Tehmina Durrani (daughter of Samina and wife of Shahbaz Sharif) and her mother were untraceable, she expressed ignorance of any property owned by her mother. As the story of Samina’s offshore companies featured prominently, the process of gifting started completing on November 10, 2016.

Armani River Limited which has been gifted to Asad owns a property in the UK whose estimated value has been declared as one million pounds. Source of funding for this property has been described as the saving of his late father, Shakirullah Durrani, former governor of the State Bank of Pakistan.

Star Precision Limited and Rainbow Limited are two other offshore companies of Samina Durrani. Star Precision’s described assets as per Panama Papers is “cash as the investment portfolio. We are also holding 1,165,238 shares in Orix Leasing Pakistan Limited.”

Lahore has 14 NA seats. I guess PTI have a shot in these Lahore constituencies. Aleem Khan, Imran Khan, Shafqat Mehmood. Hamad Azhar, One of the Maliks 134/135 (can't remember the constituency), may be Yasmin Rashid. Mehar Wajid Azeem will also give a fight to Malik Riaz NA 123.

So, at best PTI can grab 6 seats out of 14 Lahore constituencies.

True JKT is still playing safe but SMQ is forcing him to come in media.

IK finally speak on SMQ and JKT issue and admits it's happening and also condemn it.

The real fight for ticket is being fought between Sikander Bosan and Ahmad Dher in Multan.

I strongly believe electables are absolute MUST for so many reasons but Bosan is one guy who is proven opportunist of worst kind so whoever is supporting him (SMQ or JKT) should be ashamed. Having said that JKT has proven to be FAR more genuine person than SMQ (who initally i had great respect for).
JKT despite all the hardwork sacrifices still refused to comment on these issues publicly so he is easily FAR more mature and selfless.

PML-N announces candidates for National Assembly seats

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has finally announced its candidates for most of the National and provincial assembly constituencies of Punjab on Saturday. However, out of the 141 National Assembly seats to be contested from Punjab, PML-N has withheld decision on 28 seats. It has also left decision pending on several dozen provincial assembly constituencies.

Party spokesperson Mariyyum Aurangzeb announced that they will reveal names of the remaining candidates for Punjab in the next two days. National Assembly constituencies for which the party has withheld its decision include 14 from Southern Punjab, where the PML-N leadership is struggling to field a candidate after many of its heavyweights parted ways with the party and formed Janoobi Punjab Sooba Mahaaz, which later joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.

As of now the party has only managed to field two candidates in Rahim Yar Khan with six national assembly constituencies in total, whereas only one candidate has been fielded in Bahawalnagar out of the four available seats. While party candidates from important constituencies such as Multan, Bahawalpur, Lodhran and Vehari remain undecided.

Besides, PML-N has for now not fielded any candidate against disgruntled senior party leader Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan from the two NA constituencies, NA-59 and NA-63 and two provincial seats, PP-10 and PP-12. It is pertinent to mention here that Nisar has already announced he will be running as an independent candidate.

Meanwhile, PML-N has put its key focus on its provincial stronghold of Lahore, where there were no major surprises in the distribution of tickets apart from the announcement of Maryam Nawaz contesting from NA-127 who was earlier suggested to be contesting from NA-125.

According to the list, the former first daughter will be battling for a National Assembly seat from both the constituencies, NA-125 and NA-127, the former of which she has already proven her mettle in by winning the seat for both her parents in 2013 and 2017.

Party President Shehbaz Sharif will be contesting from a total of four constituencies from Punjab including NA-132, Lahore and NA-192 Dera Ghazi Khan. He will also be eyeing two provincial seats from PP-164 and PP-165. Meanwhile, Hamza Shehbaz will also look to enter the lower of house of parliament from NA-124 and the Punjab Assembly from PP-146.

Other than the three National Assembly seats bestowed upon the Sharif family, Muhammad Malik Riaz will contest from NA-123 while Mehr Ishtiaq Anwar from NA-126. Moreover, former speaker NA Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will contest polls from NA-129 while former federal minister Perveiz Malik has been selected for NA-127. Another ‘electable’ and former railways minister Khawaja Saad Rafique will contest from NA-131 whereas NA-133 has been allocated to Waheed Alam Khan, a constituency that spurred quite a controversy after old party diehard Zaeem Qadri announced his rebellion against PML-N for not issuing him a ticket from the same electorate.

Meanwhile, tickets from the remaining constituencies such as NA 128, NA-130 NA-134, NA-135 and NA-136 have been given to Rohail Asghar, Khawaja Ahmed Hasan, Rana Mubashir Iqbal, Malik Saif Khokhar and Muhammad Afzal Khokhar respectively.

Moreover, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will contest elections from NA-57, Rawalpindi while senior leader Hanif Abbasi has been allotted a party ticket from NA-60.

To further consolidate their chances of attaining majority, many of PML-N veterans will be contesting from their home grounds including Khawaja Asif from NA-73, Sialkot, Ahsan Iqbal from NA-78, Narowal, Khurram Dastgir from NA-81, Gujranwala and Danyal Aziz from NA-77. While former federal and state ministers Saira Afzal Tarar, Talal Chaudhry and Abid Sher Ali will contest from NA-87, Hafizabad, NA-102, Fasialabad and NA-108 respectively. Meanwhile, former provincial minister Rana Sanaullah will also contest from two seats, NA 106 and PP 113.

Similarly, PML-N has pitched Sheikh Waqas Akram in NA 115 Jhang and Muhammad Barjees Tahir in NA 117 Nankana while other announced candidates include Mian Javed Latif from NA 121 Sheikhupura, Abdul Rehman Kanju from NA 160 Lodhran, Begum Tehmina Daultana from NA 164 Vehari, Alam Dad Laleka NA 167 Bahawalnagar, Mian Riaz Hussain Pirzada, NA 171 Bahwalnagar and Saud Majeed from NA 172 Bahwalnagar.

Awais Khan Leghari has also been allotted two tickets NA-191 and PP-292 while Sher Ali Gorchani will be the party’s candidate from NA 193 and Dr Hafeez Dareshak from NA 194 Rajanpur. Surprisingly, Haroon Bukhari was allotted four tickets according to the list including two national NA-184,186 and two provincial assembly seats PP-272 & PP-275 while NA-185 remains undecided. Moreover, Mian Mohsin Wato has been given two tickets from NA-144 and PP-186, Mohsin Ata Khosa PP-287 & 289 and Sher Ali Gorchani NA-193 and PP-293.

According to a statement issued by the party, Shehbaz issued tickets for PML-N candidates from Punjab Assembly constituencies on 23rd June, 2018. The list includes names of final candidates for majority of the Punjab Assembly seats while the candidates for the remaining seats will be finalised in the coming days.

The three-time Punjab chief minister stated that PML-N has chosen candidates who demonstrated excellent performance in their constituencies, have good reputation, remained loyal to the party principles, and have the capacity to win. All candidates were finalised after going through two phases of review which included performance evaluation and candidate background checks. The first phase was district committee review and surveys and second was conducted by Parliamentary committee. He expressed positivity stating that the strong, talented and qualified pool of candidates will ensure a landslide victory in the July 25th general elections.

Waseem thoughts on PML-N tickets?

They still look very strong, South Punjab looks weak and one can see lack of interest from big names. Having said that, it won't be walkover in South Punjab for PTI either as PMLN still have some big name but they only look weal as compared to 2013.

They still look reasonably strong in rest of Punjab though, most big names are still there except few places here and there, only difference is they have very strong competition from PTI this time as opposed to 2013 and voters trend suggests people are finally ready to give PTI one chance which again does not mean outright victory but rather much better competition than 2013.

I think PMLN will get around 70 seats in Punjab (last time it was around 110?) but if PTI can get over this ticket mess and run a fierce campaign then PMLN could be restricted to 60 seats.

So mostly expected I guess. Again, it will mainly come down to this final month of campaigning and the election day efforts to mobilize voters.

Correct me if i am wrong but isn't there a candidate who is given 3 NA ticket and 2 PP tickets by PMLN in south punjab? that shows how bad the situation is there for them. At least 3 NA candidates in Punjab returned their PMLN tickets and are so far going Ind

So PTI's election campaign begins today from Mianwali jalsa. I heard Khan will do 120 jalsas in next 30 days? That will be amazing and create a massive wave if he can do that 4/5 jalsa a day will need a heli always on standby and i guess only IK and the candidates from that constituency will speak instead of the whole leadership otherwise multiple jalsas a day are not possible.

That would be Haroon Bukhari from Muzaffargarh. 2 NA and 2 PP tickets.

Also, do you know the names and NAs of those who have turned down tickets and are contesting as independents?

3 NA, 2 PP for Haroon Bukhari.

NA 184- Haroon Bukhari
NA-185- Haroon Bukhari
NA 186- Haroon Bukhari
PP 272- Haroon Bukhari
PP 275- Haroon Bukhari

So far Sheiklh Waqas Akram Jhang and Azhar Gorchani Rajanpur refused. There earlier reports of Asim Nazir Faisalabad refusing too but he will decide whatever Ch Nisar decided they are in contact. They are giving PP ticket to Waqas Akram brother too i guess he will refuse too like his elder brother?

I'm suprised that Sheikh Waqas Akram has refused a noon ticket for Jhang.

Jhang is one of the most conservative District of Punjab. After khatam e nubvat issue if you decide to contest from there on PMLN ticket your chances decrease further. Others in Jhang refused too

PTV is finally going to do an interview of IK today. I don't remember them showing even his pic in last 5 years thanks to PMLN govt and if i am not wrong there was no interview of him before 2013 on PTV?

The good thing PTI has done this time is going with electables instead of noobs. In Pak voters do not look at the party but the person contesting the election. If the person has a good reputation and has done some social work in the past in the area then he will most likely gain majority. Very different from Europe.

Finally IK has understood this. Now they stand a chance.

Other advantage the PTI has is the fact that they will gain a lot of votes from KPK as well with a few from Sindh making it a good tally whereas PMLN is solely dependent on Punjab.

This is the best chance IK/PTI will ever have.

Shop-keeper in Bori Bazaar yesterday was saying he expects a large proportion of Karachi to vote for IK :13:

TalentSpotterPk, so the national tv doesnt even show the most popular leader in the country and apparently he is part of the establishment and they cant get him on national tv. Whats going on? Democracy Noora style?

Ali Muhammad Khan officially gets ticket, it was always pending (not denied) so media created HUGE issue for nothing!!!

Farrukh Altaf's ticket from Jehlum taken back, would go to Saqlain. Farrukh is Fawad Chauhdry's cousin and they kept Saqlain out, hopefully Fawad won't take this as insult and leave PTI.

Tickets updated on http://insaf.pk/public/insafpk/pti-candidates-election-2018

Ayesha Nazir Jutt loses her NA162 Vehari ticket to Khalid Mahmood (not sure who he is but both PTI and Ayesha will most probably lose now, can't blame PTI here though).

Sikandar Bosan gets ticket from NA 154 Multan

NA141 Samsam Bukhari's ticket taken back, no replacement candidate announced yet

NA113 Strong candidate Riaz Fatiyana gets the ticket, much more stronger candidate but his loyalty has been shaky before so not sure how this will go.

Brilliants decisions specially taking back Samsam Bukhari and Farukh Altaf tickets.

Most if not all wrong ticket decisions have been corrected this shows IK and PTI do listen to the geniune concerns of their workers! Aayi Aayi PTI

Exactly, majority of people who raised concerns seem to be satisfied with decisions now.

Of course those denied tickets are never going to be happy but justice has bee done in the end (in 95% cases) so this was a marathon effort and every possible effort was made.

PTI going with as good candidates as possible so no excuses.

Great start to the campaign in Mianwali today.

And the best thing today was Khan talked about the ticket and decisions for 5 minutes in his speech and apologized to those who wasn't given ticket including Mailks of kalabagh and others in Mianwali. If Khan can do this in every District with naraz workers it will do wonders at local level. He admitted he is a human so mistakes hui hongi but his intentions were true.

Major Tahir Sadiq is also given PP3 ticket. He already have NA55 and NA56 tickets and to be honest this is a good decision to give him PP3 ticket as well no he can campaign everywhere in District Attock without any insecurity. PP3 falls under both NA55 and NA56 and PTI don't have a strong candidate in PP3.

Another great decision Murtaza Sattiadjusted adjusted on PP7 under Sadaqat Abbasi NA57 finally a very strong panel to give Khaqan Abbasi nightmares in Murree

First day of IK's GE2018 election campaign. Started from Mianwali and the people of Mianwali never disappoint him. Remember Mianwali was the only seat PTI won in 2002 when the whole country laughed at IK as a taanga party and IK won Mianwali again in 2013.

PTV is finally going to do an interview of IK today. I don't remember them showing even his pic in last 5 years thanks to PMLN govt and if i am not wrong there was no interview of him before 2013 on PTV?

PTV coverage of campaigning will be crucial. A few good interviews on PTV and some coverage of Imran Khan's speeches will do wonders for PTI.

Here comes the first prediction and that is from JKT. According to him PTI will enter in Punjab with 30 seats out of 51 KP+Fata seats and PTI is expecting 80 seats in Punjab than 15 from Sindh, Karachi, Baluchistan, Islamabad. So a total of 125 according to his numbers

Pakistan's Khan kicks off election campaign, pledges sweeping changes

Pakistani cricket star-turned-politician Imran Khan on Sunday kicked off his election campaign by staging a major rally and promising sweeping changes in the country if his party wins.

Pakistan will hold a general election on July 25 and Khan is hoping to achieve a years-long dream of becoming prime minister.

The polls will bring to a head political tensions that have been mounting since former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was ousted by the Supreme Court on corruption charges last July and later barred from politics for life.

"Today I am launching my election campaign and weeks after, you will see emergence of a new Pakistan," Khan told a rally of thousands of people in his native Mianwali constituency, more than 200 kilometres (120 miles) southwest of Islamabad.

Khan said that if elected, he will root out corruption by strengthening institutions, will bring investment from abroad and will provide better job opportunities for young people.

He also promised changes in the agriculture and education sectors and wide-ranging reforms to introduce a culture of paying tax.

"With the grace of God, we will make a new Pakistan which will be self-sufficient and will stand on its own feet, will prosper and where government will serve its people," Khan said.

Sharif was the 15th prime minister in Pakistan's seven-decade history to be ousted before finishing a full term.

The country witnessed its first democratic transfer of power following polls in 2013, which Sharif's Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won in a landslide.

The upcoming elections are expected to pit the PML-N against its main rival, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party led by Imran Khan.

Despite the numerous court rulings against the PML-N, the party has won a string of recent by-elections proving it will likely remain a powerful force.

Guys gave a cursory look to the final tickets. Only a handful of questions still remain.

NA 60 and 62 are both left for Sheikh Rasheed, which is a travesty in PTI stronghold.

NA 65, 68, 69, 3 seats have been left out for Q league.

NA 71 ? What is the situation here?

NA 97? NA 99? NA107?

NA 139, 140, 141, 144 One ticket was taken back from Sumsam Bukhari. What about other areas?

NA 169?

NA 178 ?

NA 187 left for Jamshed Dasti?

NA 74 weak candidate has been changed for good.

PTV's role has decreased to a very minimal level. It was a powerful propaganda medium until 2008 elections but now even very remote villages have cable operators.

Brilliants decisions specially taking back Samsam Bukhari and Farukh Altaf tickets.

NA 66 mentions Farrukh on website list.

Also guys PTI needs to focus on N league weaknesses more often. Recent Daily Mail report regarding UK properties should be published in Urdu with bullet points via social media and even newspaper advertisements.

There are different conspiracy theories going on regarding Kulsoom's illness and its political use.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Sunday announced to field its candidates against the disgruntled PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, who is contesting the upcoming general elections as an independent candidate, DawnNewsTV reported.

The party fielded Mumtaz Khan and Raja Qamar Islam from NA-63 and NA-59, respectively. Both candidates will be contesting against the former interior minister.

Good Effort in this thread keep it up , just a quick question why PTI finalized ticket on only 229 Seats out of 272. what about 43 left open it cant be seat adjustment on all of them. Some can be understood like PMLQ, interior Sindh , Sheikh Rasheed,

Looks like Avenfield verdict might be announced within the next 2 weeks. The defence is about to finish their closing arguments.

I don't think Nawaz and Maryam will be returning anytime soon.

If they are found guilty in the Avenfield reference then it's almost certain that Maryam won't be allowed to contest the elections.

Final confirmed list of candidates will be announced within the next two days. Those 43 will be filled.

What do you if, after the MOS revelations yesterday they need to be ready to do bird, and also there should be new cases started soon with billions more in unexplained wealth.

I can confirm that NA115 Jhang is a 99% guaranteed seat for PTI inshallah. Ghulam Bibi Barwana who joined from PMLN joined PTI last month and has been given the ticket.

I can also give you news via ground reporting from my cousin who was there a few days ago that she is going to blow away the opposition inshallah and has massive support.

Alhamdulillah.

That's another almost guaranteed MNA seat for PTI from Punjab.

I can also confirm from ground reporting via another relative that Toba Tekh Singh is showing strong signs of a massive PTI wave. All news and ground reality suggests that they will do well here also inshallah.

This is news from literally 2 days ago via ground realities.

Just look how quickly PTI is starting to build momentum in Punjab.

Bro the properties mentioned in the Daily Mail article are more or less all covered in the current trial(Avenfield mainly).

The Daily Mail article isn't evidence. It just states what properties they own. Even so, Nawaz and co are now well and truly finished and they know that.

I am surprised to notice this new narrative building in Punjab all of a sudden in every other survey i see people saying "Imran ka aik chance to banta he usko be aazma ker dekthe hen inko itni baaryaan di hen"

Sheikh Waqas Akram was ready to join PTI and was in talk for months his family wanted this ticket of NA115 but PTI after their local survey preferred Ghulam Bibi Barwana over them after looking at ground realities. I heard after Khatam e Nubavuat issue people in Jhang are really upset and going over PMLN ticket in election means destroying your chances even further so Sheikh Waqas is also going Independent.

Trust me there are still many many rural areas with no access to cable even my village UC with a population of more than 20k got no access to cable and only the wealthy ones got access to dish tv boxes etc while others only watch PTV

Yes Mian Bro something special is starting to happen in Punjab, especially since last week. Alhamdulillah.

People are starting to feel the need for change finally. The Jaahil segments are still going to vote PMLN but now a wave is building. From the undecided to the fed up voter. From the College student to the man struggling to feed his kids......Allah is putting PTI in their hearts and minds.

Something special is about to happen.

Can somebody tally up the number of independents in this years elections? From reading the bits and bobs I can, it seems many PMLN MP's are opting for a wait and see attitude and going for the independent ticket. How many have genuine chances and could we have a situation where they end up playing king maker?

Could it be that IK's feelers and less extreme position vis a vis the IMF and world bank has reduced the need for the "west" to interfere? To the extent that they feel their leverage will continue despite IK coming to power?

This guy is given PTI ticket from PP-15 (NA-61) he is a worker and stood their for PTI against the Nooras.

What do you think of Karachi ticket distribution? Subhan Ali Saahil has been ignored.

Karachi tickets are a mixed bag, many workers are upset and there are some groups that are boycotting their local candidates.

Problem with Karachi is that first of all most of the names are relatively unknown, and secondly, it's not as much about the candidate, it's more about other reasons. Karachi voters did not vote for MQM based on candidates, they voted more based on MQM's "Muhajir party" tag. Therefore it is really difficult to say what will happen in Karachi. Most likely PTI will bag 4-5 seats, but I think there is potential to win more seats, it's just too difficult to guess anything beyond 4-5 seats.

Leaving Saahil out is a big miss, he worked really hard in 2013 and almost won his seat, only missed out by about 3000 votes.
