True.....If he needs to go then send him after the end of the domestic game. Its not like he will be playing the first test....But then you never know pakistan team management, may be he will be playing the first test.
 
So now can YK be consider an all rounder instead of just batsman?

Idiots!! These guys in PCB dont know math, they dont check calendar, Sami wont be able to get there for the first test, so why bother?

Just like they scheduled a test match on Eid Day in NZ, NZ cricketers would have refused to play on Xmas day. But us??

Asim Kamal can't even defend a ball. He must be in a very bad form. Even number 11 player is defending the ball better then him.

Well stage is set for YK to shine:) and make HBL the winner. something around 207 to win with almost 3 days left. Should be an easy task with the batting power HBL has in YK, Taufiq, and Hasan Raza

Sami is on fire. He is swinging it out big time. Only if he could bowl a good inswinger without over pitching it, he will be more dangerous.

first wicket for sami. ripped off both the stumps with a full pitched outswinger around the wicket to a left handed batsmen

What, no Youni!! Wat type of tzctics are these. So few runs, Younus needs to come in to bat and prove a point!!
 
Interesting decision to not send Younus at his normal position. I don't agree with the captain's thinking. Younus is his best batsman and he has to utilize him properly if HBL are to win.

Sami is really firing them in today. Haven't seen him bowl like this for a while.

I hope next to come would be YOUNIS KHAN. want to see him bat and bat for longer. SAMI on fire. the ball to taufeeq was great with good pace. SAMI looking good. just got his 2nd wicket.
now it will be a tough chase. HBL 33/2
 
Any international level batsman would have put that away through midwicket...

With Waqas Younis as bowlling coach Sami will definately improve down under under his coaching... we need express pace in our bowlling attack
 
If Sami can bowl this quick in Australia he might not be as hopeless as we first thought.

His accuracy is unfortunately still a big problem.
 
Aftab Alam just trying his best to avoid Sami in the next over...just took a suicidal single to get on the other side so as to not play Sami next over...was uncomfortable against him in the previous over...
 
WOW one of the simplest catch I have seen and dropped. Who drops it? another potential opener for Pakistan. With this type of catching ability I think we should not even think of him. We already have likes of Farhat and Butt

Tanveer is bowling good and moving the ball both ways. He has control over the swing but i am wondering how effective he is with an old ball?

The ball really should have been left. Younus got sucked into the angled runup by Sami and seemed to expect that it would nip back in.
 
Half volley out side the off stump and yk edges it to second slip. boy oh boy is he out of touch.
 
Sami is actually thinking about his bowling can this be true

He is bowling well. He can walk in to Pakistan team just on his bowling

It worked brilliantly though. Perhaps he should try doing that more often. It clearly caught Younus Khan off guard.

A lot of bowlers of golden age of fast bowling did that...coming in with the angled run-up to get the outswing going...
 
Just sad, I do not think YK is in any form to go to Aus, although who know he can regain form while playing tests but it will be a huge risk. I think he should only go if we lose the first test badly or if the 3 stooges we have perform so poor that YK's current form looks better than them

On a serious note he doesn't have to prove anything with the bat to be included in the team. He just need more match practice.
 
This looks like Dumbulla wkt. Poor YK, he tried to avoid NZ to play on a flat traks in domestic matches but he got the wkt same as NZ.

The form he is in now, at # 3 we will have nothing but disaster.
