The guy averages under 20 with the bat during the past three years, doesn't know how to hold a bat or bowl a delivery even if his life depended on it.Yet when one moves through all of the fan posts one feels that Don Bradman,Viv Richard and Saeed Ajmal have been reincarnated all in one body.

He goes for so may runs because Afridi and co. cannot build on the pressure he creates to save their lives.
He is not the captain so how can he perform, after all he is the legend, the one that they will be singing songs about for ages.Surely we can't expect that of him.

When he comes out to bat he moves his bat in such a poetic/classical style to play those drives and glances(the world holds its breath in awe) but the ball just refuses to touch the bat,moves around it and crashes into the stumps/pads (due to some devilry/Chilaz brewed by haters). Now how can one put the blame on him. Haterz have small hearts., they deliberately jinx him(How rude of us).
And the last, we all shall support him blindly even if the haters prove us wrong.

I think, the question was .... about Malik's crime. First of all 19 sparkling runs scored during the form of his life...... is definitely not a failure. Plus.... which law books say that "failing to score" is a crime......even if you call today's 19 runs as failure.


See ... we are very easy to please fans. We thankfully take his 2 runs scored as if he has scored a triple 100.... so 19 runs are 9 times more than a 2 runs innings. Don't believe me??? Look here.

Malik played well today, struggled initially but got going and played well. If he continues to play like this for the rest of the series I think his place as the number 6 batsman is justified for the imminent future, though I still think he doesn't warrant place as a specialist batsman. They should maybe bump him up to 5 and give Shafiq/Umar a chance at 6 perhaps (at the expense of Younus)
