I know I am classified as a hater but take my word your boy was awful today. Kept shuffling across and had no idea of his off stump to pacers then Rehman troubled him a lot almost caught him at slip when ball just fell short of Ahmed Shezad then bowled him with a regulation left armer ball Umer played down the wrong line. The only positive is he was not the only international batsman who struggled today.

Yes sorry pitched outside Leg stump, good delivery but if he played it on the back foot he would've survived.

I agree with this. Umar got beat quite a few times by Rehman. There was a catch in the slip that should have been taken by Shahzad off Rehman's bowling but he was standing just a little too far behind and couldn't reach it.

What i saw as a common mistake from Umar: When Rehman pitched the ball on leg stump, Umar always played it cross batted so he was always beaten when the ball turned towards the off stump.

It wasnt a beauty at all...a regulation left armer ball...his front foot was outside the line of leg stump thus exposing his stumps...really poor technique...and he batted terribly before that...really improvising when he didnt need to...It seems he has lost confidence in his defensive technique
