100 for yk and good work out for Sarfraz needed also

Agree with that. Sarfaraz needs some runs also. Be interesting to see what the tail can do
Plus Sohail Khan and Rahat Ali are having a bat-off for the number 8 position in the Test side.....

Just watched some highlights of yesterdays play, Younis looks shaky against pace as usual. Somerset did him a huge favor by brining on two spinners when he arrived. Shaft looked good out of the few plays I saw. Masood looked decent.
Just waiting for Pakistan to have a bowl now

In a 3 day game you are limited to 100 overs according to the commentators. So only a few overs left.

Not true unless there is prior agreement between the teams.

Sounds like there has been an agreement. Commentators repeat Pakistan have a few overs left to bat.

Younis out for 104.

Younis once again gone straight after reaching the milestone.

Also, the first delivery bowled to Amir was a no-ball - wonder if that was intentional? :13:

Good that Younis is gone. We need the tail to get some time to bat because we don't have much time to bat any way

Doesn't really help because our bowlers really struggle with batting, just the thought of Broad and Anderson bowling to them gives me the shivers.

Our tail is useless. Wouldn't be suprised if England's tail won them a game or 2 in this series

Yasir is not a bad tailender at all. His weakness is the short ball but he can score runs when the ball is full. Very wristy player

Yasir
Amir (he will improve his batting)
Sohail
Wahab/Rahat

is a good tail

Lol, Yasir has the potential with the bat. Sohail Khan should smash from ball one, he is decent when in an aggressive mode.

Nice little cameos by Sarfraz and Yasir.

Can you see why I'm pushing for three day Pink Ball night tests on grassy tracks?

It ensures that both teams are still alive until the final day, due to the 100 over maximum in the first two innings. No innings will ever go over 420.

Better to have 5 X 3 night Tests instead of 3 X 5 days.

Wahab is better than the rest. But nevertheless we have long tail. Amir has being very disappointing with bat since his return. He was decent with bat before [emoji84][emoji84][emoji84]

I never knew you wanted 3 day test matches. I'm happy with the current system. Would rather improve the quality of pitches than worry about reducing test matches.

A pretty average batting display on a flat pitch against novice bowling.

The lower-order/tail again failed to contribute. From 311/4 to 359/8 paints a sorry picture.

Given England's batting depth, they tend to add 200 runs for their last 5 wickets.

The Adelaide Night Test finished in three days and was just perfect - like a seventies or eighties Test match outside Asia.

No team scores over 250, no centuries, but dramatic and even. You couldn't take you eye off a single ball.
