They are a good team on their day and can shock any opposition. But they also have numerous cracks that can be easily exploited. If their spinners don't fire, their batting can look pedestrian. Especially when put under pressure.
That is true i believe they are still missing a few players. That mystery spinner getting injured is a big blow to them

Afghanistan lacks a proper genuine pace bowler. 145kph+. Cant the Afghani pathans produce any speedsters, they aint had one since Hamid Hassan and Sharpor Zadran! Tall fast bowler!

"poor Ahmed performance rather than a Noor Ahmed performance" :ROFLMAO:

That was right out of the Ramiz Raja commentary manual that one by Shaun Pollock

These type of pitches do not suit Afghanistan's style of bowling..Maybe they should have taken a leaf out of India's book and insisted on playing in Dubai :vk

Alot of the Indian pitches didn't suit them either. They played on some pretty flat wickets in that tournament. Still managed to put up a great performance. Today is not their day but they have an opportunity to rectify against England and Australia.

Chennai and Delhi suited them with pitches offering something for their spinners.

Southafrica are strong side . Afghans only have chance against Australia and England . They should forget about this game

guys don't worry mohammad hafeez and the expert panel said during the pakistan match that this is not a 320 pitch...

all these 300++ scores are all just a coincidence. south africa will be 250 all out

This is a different, fresh surface
Pakistan Shaheens
322/8
South Africa
(49/50 ov, T:323) 324/7

was this match in karachi a few days ago also a fresh surface, bad bowling, etc?

Afghanistan
305/9
New Zealand
(47.5/50 ov, T:306) 308/8

what about this match a few days ago? also bad bowling? fresh surface?

how many 300+ scores do we need to confirm this the conditions in karachi are producing 300+ results. What is more important, data or feelings?

It's bad enough listening to Ramiz in Pakistan's matches. Now we have to listen to him in other team's matches too? His incessant drivel never gets easy on the ears.

Good recovery from the Saffers so far.

I think Bavuma and Rickelton partnership set the tone for SA and RvD and markram accelerated brilliantly and ots a good total on the board and I think it's easy win for SA , will make NRR too , very important in this group of death

This is only second instance of 4 batters scoring 50+ runs in an innings in ICC CT
