South Africa beat India by 214 runs and win the series 3-2

SA should never ever field first after winning the toss no matter how good the pitch is for pacers! because they are worst than Pakistan when it comes to chasing anything more than 250 and a typical collapse from them is always around the corner

but India is a very good team when it comes to chasing so SA will have to put a very good total on board if they want to win this series otherwise there is no way of SA finally winning an ODI series in India.
 
Abbot and Elgar are in, phangiso and Morris are out.
SA playing with 3 quicks and Tahir. I wonder who will perform the 5th bowler duties? Behardien probably.

South Africa should thank their lucky stars that they have won the toss. Only Dew or a Rohit special can save India.
 
Good start by SA, both the openers look like in good touch.
 
That on drive from Amla was just too good. No follow through, just pure timing.

Amla looked on fire before getting out. Looked so good but gave it away. Congrats on fastest to 6000 though
 
These two are in good touch, if India want to restrict them, just get one of them quickly.

The last match irfan played for india he bowled a match winning spell. He got injured after that and never came back. When we have guys like binny in the squad you really start to question the selection committee and captain's favoritism.

I think, it's a deliberate tactics by SAF to go after the new ball. Their batting depth allows them to lose regular wickets but maintain a 6+ rate.

Amla normally chokes in such matches, but today he was going after.

Yeah, Sky Sports/Test Match Special reminds you how inferior desi commentary is. Bangladeshi commentators have been the worst I've heard by far.
 
DD just had signal failure of the match and now they are showing history of Bijapur :facepalm
 
Must say the way SA are playing they mean business. Expect de kock to make a ton.

And i am worried about this thing, not only for India but for all asian teams. From what i am seeing all Asian teams are declining, and other teams are on the rise. Because we are focusing on those players who can give us max of 1-2 years, but not on those who can give us 4-5 years. It's good that Bhajji is taking wickets, but also a symbol of worry.
