What's new

South Africa beat India by 214 runs and win the series 3-2

Bl**dy hell, who is the pitch curator at Wankhede? He should be transferred to the Road Building section at the Mumbai Muncipality. They need such people there now.

Pretty sure, it isn't the first time something like this has happened

A massacre is going on whilst the world is watching it quitely.

I demand a UN's intervention to stop the South Africans from committing Game crimes.

Jokes apart, I think even the Indians would reprove the making of such flat tracks since one tends to lose interest easily, particularly when you are on the receiving end.

Let's be honest I saw the whole match and extremely poor bowling by Indian. Six after six, same line lengths very poor! Pitch is flat no doubt but alot of loose balls for batsman to score!

hold your horses and let SA bowl

If India dont score much it would be down to the scoreboard pressure. Just as India did in the WC. All the batsman would be going for biggies and we will lose it. Not because the pitch in not flat.

yes there cannot be a scenario where SA bowl well.

Even if they bowl well, this is a 300+ pitch and ground. I would expect India to get 320-330 in 45 odd over and get all out.

Anyways, what was the general consensus about India's bowling when they bowled out the opposition in 7 matches? Scoreboard pressure or good bowling?

Lol. India is a rubbish bowling attack. Now sit back and watch the South African pacers taken advantage of the pace and bounce on offer.

i care about my own opinion and i believe that only scoreboard pressure isnt enough to win u matches in 9 out of 10 games. You HAVE TO bowl well too.

But it is a possibility that this might be that one time when scoreboard pressure alone will win SA the game. That doesnt mean its a certainity that Indians will throw their wickets away without SA BOwling well.

Patheitc pitch and super short boundaries

Why even bother bowling on these pitches?

Just bat frst, score 400 and see the opposition crumble under scoreboard pressure.

Rabada, as always, seem to be the one who's could give tough time even on such flat pitches.

Saffer pacers are getting something out of this surface, while Indians

You need to hit the deck hard. Height also matters.

Our bowlers are short in stature and do not hit the deck hard. They are just buffet bowlers.

BK is not the bowler on these pitches. Mohit is useless as ever. He is seriously sheet.

Mohit would have been taken for over 130 runs if he had completed his quota.

Never seen a pacier youngster than Rabada. Hitting the 90mph barrier with ease.

Two chances missed. Could turn out to be costly, if SA stops to press on the Indian openers.

Why have Dhawan and Amla been failing in this series? Everyone else seems to be scoring.

India playing as if they are chasing a 300 score.

Their approach is correct bro.

The aim for big totals must be to motor along without losing wickets.

Even at 6 rpo is fine though 7 rpo would be ideal.

When you take the score to 200-250...the game really comes to life.

Middle over milking is important too.

Dropped catch. Missed run out.

STOP PANICKING INDIANS.

Play like there is no score to chase.

Just on the merit of the ball.

The problem is, if India loses a wicket going at 5 RPO after 10 overs will be in trouble.

Very easier to score useless double tons when not required but not even 50 runs today.

I hope Imran Tahir gets five wickets here and India lose, so Shiv Sena get all bum-hurt and make some hilarious threats again.

I am not disagreeing that India didn't bowl poorly. But, the pitch is so flat that even if you bowl well, 300+ is highly likely.

Okay. Rohit gone.

If Kohli fails, India will not score 200.

India is a 2 man ODI team. With our tremendous tail, we have a sheet ODI batting.

Expect MSD to score a 50 to save his face.
