South Africa reach 106/4 in reply to Pakistan's 272 at Stumps on Day 2 of the 2nd Test

George Linde update:

Following assessment this morning, the wound had been managed and appropriately protected to give him the opportunity to bowl in the first innings.

He is a free flowing player and will probably go for a release shot sooner or later. Hopefully it isn't a bad one.

Why are they suddenly playing so slow, it will only allow the bowlers to dominate. Yesterday Fawad and Babar were playing so well, rotating strike, hitting bad balls and the bowlers were under pressure

Pitch is not that good either too slow for a free flowing player....300 is enough here
 
Add another 2 wickets here and inns is a complete failure.
 
There was a Time when SA had bowlers like Donald , Styen , Pollock , Klusner , Nitini ..... now we have garbage like Linde and Muller :))
 
Maybe they do not want to expose tailenders to new ball by giving their wicket away with an attacking shot, but should atleast try to eek out singles.

All your previous example are pacers, Linde is a spinner

Babar and fawad scored freely yesterday once they got in. Failing to understand what rizwan is doing here.

Then we also had batsmen of quality facing them like Inzi, Younis, Yousuf, Saeed, Amir S etc. BTW you missed Kallis.
 
Taking new ball is a stupid decision, SA will pay heavily for that now , its much easier for batsmen when ball comes on .
 
Rabada is certainly making the new ball talk here. Wicket is around the corner I reckon.

Rabada , has become like a rubber band in this series , over stretched :133: he needs to be rested properly for IPL .

Now Pakistan lower order will start , another 100 runs from them will seal the game , done and dusted
 
Rizwan plays one shot to many and throws it away. Poor stuff.

SA into pakistan tail now, we need another 100 runs here.
