South Africa reach 51/2 in chase of 277-run target at stumps on Day 3 of the first Test against Pakistan

Rabada bowling at good pace. Some corkers in this spell.
To get an outside edge to carry to second slip on this pitch is a feat in itself.
 
Surface has progressively lost pace and bounce. Scoring getting increasingly difficult
 
The form babar azam is in, he should have played a full season of domestic red ball. He may never come back to his best but he should have given himself a chance by at least trying to regain his form. Talk to good coaches around the world, i dont see enough fire in him.

There's nothing there for the seamers. Even the PAK seamers couldn't get too much out of the surface. South Africa should've just bowled Muthuswamy from the other end.
 
2022-2023 Pak produced Roads for Test Matches to prop up Average of Babar Azam . As a result Pak did nt win a single test match.
 
PAK at 145/2 are sitting pretty . Ball just 11 overs old & if SAF do not get next 4 wickets in 1st hour after lunch , it's game over . Besides ball turning majorly , you got low bounce in line of stumps , someone needs to play shots with one batsmen playing the anchor .
 
Babar better be bringing out his best today... Not gonna be easy on such pitch but yeah. he needs to be on top of his game

Indians of course don’t do that!

All teams use home conditions to their advantage. Pakistan were producing flat tracks before which backfired if anything. Spin is the way to go.

A top performer must be able to perform in all conditions. Pacy, bouncy, low bounce, seaming and spinning tracks.

I am wishing babar gets a ton today.
Want to perform now as his performance is important for us to perform well in this wtc.
 
300 lead would put Pakistan in safety to win the match , and with Agha and Rizwan still to bat , along with better tail end contributions should be easily achieved.
 
Man say whatever you want saud is easily the best spin player of spin in asia just has all the shots
 
Saud showing value of sweeping. IfBabar adds that to his armour he would become an elite test batsman.
