Ah, no worries got it!

South Africa 1 Hashim Amla, 2 Quinton de Kock (wk), 3 Faf du Plessis, 4 AB de Villiers (capt), 5 JP Duminy, 6 Rilee Rossouw, 7 Farhaan Behardien, 8 Chris Morris, 9 Morne Morkel 10, Marchant de Lange, 11 Imran Tahir

England 1 Alex Hales, 2 Jason Roy, 3 Joe Root, 4 Eoin Morgan (capt), 5 Ben Stokes, 6 Jos Buttler (wk), 7 Moeen Ali, 8 Chris Jordan, 9 Adil Rashid, 10 David Willey, 11 Reece Topley

England's side is so well balanced, plenty of bowling options and a deep batting lineup all capable of explosive innings. Not convinced by the quality of the pace attack yet.

Not sure why they mostly open with Morris when he plays...

Gone for over 10 an over in his first 2

Wont be too long before Morkel comes on

What a start!!!

We are going to be a very good team in an year or so.

James Taylor - one of the most hard done by players in cricket for sure!

Shows good squad depth when neither of your 2 top scorers in the warm ups get in the starting XI though I guess

Both the fast bowlers and spinners getting punished here.

Buttler in ahead of Morgan.

Seems like they're giving him a new role.

Don't think it's anything overly permanent, just Morgan being flexible with the order. If Root had got out instead of Hales I'd expect Morgan would of walked in.

Eng 170/2 after 23 overs - should be looking at 350-400 here off 50 overs

Nasir making a good point here. Stop making test player an odi player. Exactly what Pak selectors are hell bend upon to doing.

3 consecutive 4s for Butler. We really seemed to have out leashed the beast in him.

SA need to get JOs caught behind soon, as we all know nothing gets Butler better than De Cock.

This is going to end as a massacre.

To think that this was the same team playing a mundane brand of cricket just over a year ago in the world cup is astounding.

England have started to take ODI cricket seriously.....

Suppose they might actually now have a chance in 2019, with it being at home...

I would say they're one of the favourites for the champions trophy and the world cup. Their only weak link looks like is in their pace bowling department.

Well, England did a Pakistan in the World Cup where they were playing good cricket before the World Cup but then on the eve of the tournament panicked and contracted 'senioritis' and tried to fix things that weren't broken.

Not really. They were shambles of a team before and during the world cup. Don't go by that tri series win against us. They lost both to India and SL at home. I think the change came during the NZ ODI series in England. Now they're a team with a completely different mindset.

They should have one the last one. Were coasting in the final, but somehow messed up.

India were also lucky that they had prepared dry pitches for an Ashes summer, so there spinners could have an impact. IN 'normal' English conditions, Jadeja would not have ended up as the top wicket taker in the tournament.

The other thing is that a lot of people laugh at this England plan BS. But they seem to have, in the last 15 years, managed to make it work. A lot of planning and effort went in to taking England from their lowest ebb, to a top test team by 2005, and now beyond. Strauss has emphasised that they will take the ODI format seriously too now, so shouldn't be too suprised with the progress.

England odi team is looking solid. Serious contender for champions trophy and 2019 world cup in england.

ENG batting fearlessly and getting the desired results. We were in a similar position but folded for 290 due to the fear factor.

England team has evolved, not the same boring team anymore. Pakistan is still stuck in 90s

If this was the Pakistani team, they would be batting at 205-7 right now

They had the wrong team for the last WC. I think only three or four guys from that squad stayed in.

This is among the low profile stadiums in SA, not the usual Durban, Johannesburg or Cape Town.

Adel Rasheed has trimmed his beard to a non bhai length of late.

Should be an interesting run chase for S.A later.
