oh yeah, big time! and to terrify the mediocre batsmen like Amla and Kallis, Sree was giving them stare down! They must have had nightmares last night!

I just saw the TV ad. They are like "India vs the defiant Proteas. Will South Africa refuse to bow down to the number one team?"

I think more like, how quickly will Indian bow down to them :D

easy for me to create an argument as to why that makes us a resilient, fighting team and that makes you chokers though. innit :D

India deserve the no.1 spot because of their results, for now, but SA are probably the best team with the best players...does that make sense? I was delighted to draw 1-1 in the end, certainly our test win in Durban was the sort of spanking which you guys rarely receive :)
 
Just to make things worse for India, there is rain forecast for tomorrow and the day after, meaning the best batting days will be consumed by SA and India will once again be put in to bat in hostile conditions.

I don't see us scoring more than 250 in the second innings under such circumstances.

Bye bye match.
 
haha - What are the odds of the 1st ball of the day being no-ball? It's fixed I tell ya! LOL

On both occasions you were comfortably going to draw the game then lost 6-7 wickets in the last 20 overs. You were the ones choking then. Both flat pitches too.
 
Wow Amla is murdering it today. Looks total class the last year and a bit. This pitch looks really flat now. I don't know if it's the bowlers or the pitch though. I think when Kallis retires he'll quickly become the new "Kallis" for us, if not already. Seriously bankable and solid.

Next S.A Captain too I think.

but everybody expected SAF to take last wkt on both occasions ....so Whippy is absolutely right here ...:)
 
Where is Unadkat? You can see the fear in the eyes of Amla and Kallis when he comes on to bowl

We had something like 1 over to get the last wicket on both. Why would you expect us to get the last wicket ? The fact we even managed to get into that position was a mammoth, late in the game collapse by England on flat tracks.

No, I doubt that. The track is flattening out and we'll have to grind the wickets out. We need to be 400+ ahead and then bowl this afternoon. In South Africa tracks play hard up front and flatten up towards the end of the game. You hardly ever see a "4th" innings blitz.

Amla gone, hard luck.

yep can say that...but do you remember Kolkata Test ..when Amla was off strike ..only ...3 balls were remaining there ......if we didn't have taken that wicket we definitely be called as a Choker for sure ...:)
 
Now Ishant "100 MPH" Sharma in his next interview. I know how to get Amla out. :amla
 
Well at least one of his main bowlers got a break through..otherwise Dhoni would have had to give up the gloves and bring himself on to bowl :nehra

By who ? 3 balls to get a last wickets and it happens is incredibly long odds. I thought the definition of choker is not doing something when the odds are high you should do it.

I think after morne morkel's wicket when the celebrations began,and there were 2 overs left after that,as far as i remember seeing the match.

But the main point south africans are chokers to an extent,there are lot of matches to say that for example the icc champions trophy semis against us in sri lanka,that was the highest form of choke to be frank.Even england who have started playing cricket so much earlier dint win a world cup till the t20 one recently.They weren't called chokers.But south africa's world cup debacles was due to luck in my opinion.Thats y i am rooting for them this time to win the cup and erase the tag.

yes 2 over were left after Morkel's and last wkt we get in last over 3rd ball...i think

for this WC ..everybody seams forgetting Aussies...
 
Have a great time guys.going out and will return in sometime.Hopefully south africa would have declared by then and sewag would have got to 100.
 
AB the 5th player to go past 50 in this innings! What a batting display SA have shown!
 
If Kallis didn't score a double hundred today then he never will. Excellent chance to score his first double today.
