Steyn was simply superb , Pujara got unplayable delivery. Credit should be given to both batting sides for pushing scores past 300. Most teams would have folded under 200.
Bhaji is too damn lucky. Ball hit the stump at good pace and bails did not dislodge.

Definitely. The best form of cricket by miles. Absolutely loving this. The Ashes by night, and SA v India by day

Really good innings from Harby, shame he didn't get the fifty, but he has exceeded expectations once again.

If India can somehow get to 400, we will have a corking match on.

This is the best Tendulkar innings I have personally witnessed. I'm sure there were better ones in the nineties, but this is my opinion, based on what I have seen.

White ball looses its Shine very quickly. And Steyn does not have great deal of reverse swing.. And Sub-continents Pitches won't give him as much bounce as he is getting in SA..

No he wasn't.

Either way, surviving a couple of chances against great bowling on a difficult pitch cannot be held against an innings. Pietersen's 158 against the great Australian bowlers to win the Ashes is one of the best innings of recent years, and it was far from chanceless.

this is great cricket, fantastic bowling by steyn, very resolute batting from tendulkar. Pleasure to watch these two masters of their arts.
Steyn is going to go down as one of the top 5 fast bowlers of all time IMO. Statistically , in this era of flat pitches his strike rate and average are phenomenal. When hes fired up he bowls spells of a degree of quality I havent witnessed since Wasim in the 90s . The amount of times he beats the bat even on flattish wickets is phenomenal.
And tendulkar, well hes had his fair share of luck today, but again he shows what test match batting is all about, grit and determination in the face of fiery fast bowling. And to have done it for so long ! Im sorry but as much as I find Indian fans opinions on some of their own players (especially the phaast bowlers) amusing, you just gotta concede that this guy is a phenomenal bat, maybe even as good as Inzi
