should score 160 seems to me a very flat track

Well he is in the ODI squad as well so he will probably play at one stage, I feel more sorry for Umar Amin, Babar and Asad Ali who will warm the bench against and then just go home without a game.
 
Another series for Umar Amin, Asad ALi, and Babar being sent home without a international cricket and precisely used as waterboys

3 left armers I doubt pak will go with 3 left armers.

True this. Our newcomers are just limited to the bench. Asad should have been tried ahead of gul !
 
Why is Gul still in the team, Does he have to get thrashed for 10 games in a row for his place to be questioned?

Not enough specialist batsmen.

Should be enough for this line up though. Looks weak.
 
Its nice to see some aggressive players in the team. a breath of fresh air. Heck if we played this team in the test match series, we wud have been able to put up better scores

as is the case with some other players, he is also still playing due to his past reputation of being a demolisher of opponents

This team could easily get bundled out for 20 odd runs in a test match against Steyn
 
So,finally live action after a week...:)

And we will have to wait for another 7 days for next action.....so rain please stay away...:(

Saffers have some good batting ... AB, Davids, FAF and Miller are our biggest hitters.

Wish that de Kock could have been there instead of Ontong, but Ontong needs a bat. What is funny is that 19 year old de Kock has become one of the top domestic batters.

Good to see Morris and Abbott playing. Want to see if Morris if worth his IPL contract.

Hmmm ... even Kleinveldt can smack a good 6 (ask NZ) and Peterson has always been a slogger.

Should be a good game. Well balanced team. :)
 
Guys I hope we can survive 20 overs with this batting lineup. I've never seen such a fluky batting lineup. I think it is an extreme reaction to the prod and edge phenomenon in the test matches..
 
Shehzad is considered as an attacking batsman but always ends up wasting balls because he is so tense.

so where do you want Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik to bat, who apparently are in the team as specialist batsmen :)

Kamran Akmal and Hafeez can swap, but Hafeez would be pretty ordinary at number 6 or 7.
