Pollards gone, just proves how inaccurate hawkeye is as Pollards a very tall man
How does his height change the trajectory of the ball?
the Windies resemble our team in a lot of respects
So this was the match i was looking forward to since the start of the tournament.
What a waste.issed:
So Africans are always start good to be choked
Windies look so like us![]()
Being a South African myself i wouldn't want to explain it to you as i know it would result in an argument or debate. If it wasn't SA playing or if it was SA batting you would've deff understood. I don't know if you heard what Nasser Husain said when hawkeye showed it hittig the stumps
I can assure you that my allegiance has nothing to do with the question, so please go ahead and explain it
No matter how tall or short a batsman is, the ball would have pitched in the same spot, hit in the batsman in the same spot and therefore follow the same trajectory since the two initial points of reference are the same.
Whenever a ball hits a player, even as short as Tendulkar above knee roll,it's said that 'it would've gone above the stumps' & usually given not out. If you look at where it hit Pollard and he's very tall, with the naked eye you would think it's going over. Also hawkeye isn't always able to determine the amount of bounce every pitch has & would sometimes show the ball going over when it isn't + vice versa. If you watch cricket alot, many times commentators are 'shocked' at what hawkeye shows & many have said hawkeye isn't accurate. This particular one wasn't a shocker but also wasn't accurate
We aint as bad as the W.I yet![]()
Did you see JoDon a thread has been created on how wrong hawkeye is,i'm sure you'd want to have a say there lol
