Naseem: "South Africa have been the far superior team there is no doubt about that, but the inconsistency with DRS must be very demoralising for Pakistan in this game. Immediately after the Misbah decision they seemed somewhat demoralised and disillusioned. I am a big fan of DRS but Hotspot has been completely unreliable in this game and it needs to be investigated as to why thats the case."

Rameez is a low life seriously..you guys say our commentators are too patriotic and biased at least they are better than this rameez..had this decision went against us Ravi shashtri would have gone nuts.

but some here still like him.......

i've been saying for some time now that he's a pitthu.. and people delete my posts..

to get rid of a joker such as him.. we need to be common on what he is and what he's not..

im sure even after this display no one will complain about him at higher authorities.

i am pretty surprised that people are having a go only at the umps when technology has been pretty dodgy throughout the match!

It is crap indeed; but I don't have any faith in these so called batsmen. I will be happy if we put up a fight, and score some good runs in the second innings, atleast to give some confidence to the players for the next match. But a win, is out of question

Wish hanif Muhammad was there. slow and singles. would have played great.

Well the next test is in Cape Town, I'm gonna look out for the spin and ajmal.

Parson me, Swanny was poor at cape town. Bhaj did do well though. Ajmal may shine who knows. Durban is most spin friendly where Herath and Swann both bowled well. Even Bhaj bowled well. Unfortunately, you guys are not playing at Durban.

Sri Lankan umpire in yesterdays match did the same thing to Australia.

AJ Finch c †Thomas b Holder 10 18 6 1 0 166.66
3.3 135.3 kph, Mr DRS has been called into service. It was short of length outside off, the batsman stays in the crease and tries to flay his bat at that, it takes an outside edge, seemingly so, (I heard a noise), but the umpire says no. Being reviewed...Yes, it is out. Although it didn't show up clearly on the hot-spot, the noise was too loud to ignore. Holder 1 - hot-spot 0 39/1

tough day is understatement. It couldnt be more a horror show if freddie krauger and the ring coming out.

I reckon that if we can survive tomorrow with most of our batsmen not out. We have the capability to get a draw out of this if the blessed rain arrives.

Everybody perform 2 rakat nafl and ask the All-Mighty for some rain in Jo'Burg in the next two days.

STumps......... and third day we are doomed.

Third day will be ok. Just keep bowling all day long. No, if they don't get bowled out South Africa will not declare at lunch, they have no need to. These are great practice sessions for their batsmen. South Africa will plan to bat out tomorrow and build a lead of 650+, and give two full days for Pakistan to survive.

Horrendous batting by Pakistan after such a good first day. Only rain can save Pakistan now. Brilliant cricket by Seth Africa though. Steyn was on fire.

There is talk of rain on the way so who knows. SA not enforcing the follow on was a bit strange.

Rain won't save Pakistan. Showers are expected everyday but they won't prevent a South African win. By bowing Pakistan out in 25 overs, they have done exactly what the greatest teams in cricket history did: Produced a killer session in which an entire batting line-up has been decimated and the momentum completely in possession of the better team.

But things don't always work out that way. If Pak come out with a positive mindset and stretch the SA bowling that itself would be a moral victory going forward. Also with rain you never know what could happen. A wet ball will nullify swing/seam and bounce and if it ends up being heavy showers then who knows how things will go down. It's not over till it's over.
