I'm no hater but Steve Smith is a tough cricketer to like. Whether I look at his batting aesthetics, his personality or obviously his ethics. Now there's no denying he's a great batter - that 2016-17 series is etched in my mind but...he's not a batter or a cricketer that makes your heart race. Root and Williamson are the same but they're such gentlemen and their technique so orthodox that I'm still a fan.
