Out of the next 22 overs to come, 11 will be shared between Murali and Mendis. This will be a tough challenge for India, but I think with the start they have got it's doable if they play sensibly.

Anyways, on that note, good night everyone :)

Murali trapped Dhoni leg before in world cup lol from that point he has been as a ritual bowling round the wicket to Dhoni.

India should win game from here aslong as they keep their heads

Yuvi first time .. relived his last tour moment. Straight ball.. wonder how he missed that. Next ball smashed for 4. Good shot against Mendis.

Yuvi is still learning against Mendis. He should take tihs as a challenge and improve his game.

Mendis taken off. It is a small success for Yuvi. Even though he hit only one 4 off him. Still a success considering his last tour.

Mendis has a 17 km speed difference between his qiucker one and slower one. That is where Yuvi fails.

No bounce, no pace, slow outfield. SL pitches never change. It is not even a typical one day wicket.

Powerplay overs. Taken or left? Dhoni should take it now to finish the game

The highest score on this ground was 107 (or 104 I think) by Rahul Dravid vs UAE in the Asia Cup in 2004.

and they win.
sucks, pakistan couldn't beat a team which performed like this today

Learning lesson for Pakistani Batsman!, how to play against Srilankan Bowlers!

It was a flat, low pitch. Nothing like the seam and bonce which was seen the other day

One small error, one bad shot selection by Dhoni or Rohit could have sunk India. IT was precise pacing from Dhoni. I am very glad Yuvi was able to negotiate Mendis better than the last tour.He has to prove it time and again.

Safe to say we have the best captian since Imran Khan coming out of the sub continent. Only a matter of time before Axe man eclipse Imran himself...

Sri Lanka could have ended with a much bigger score though, perhaps 280 if -

1) They scored more runs in the batting powerplay
2) The mini collapse in the end didn't happen
3) Jayasuriya played a longer innings

Then perhaps there would've been a good chase today.

Imran was a leader not just a captain. that way his role was different. Dhoni is a good onfield captain, leading-by-example captain

Good news folks. Mendis has been worked out. I knew he was a fad.
