Hafeez' highest score in first class cricket is 180. Hope he has the temperament and/or endurance to make a serious score here.

Pakistan should be atleast 360 at close here, that should be the target!
 
When SL take the new ball it will either allow us to score quicker or SL will get a wicket or two.
 
This ground has traditionally been high scoring so pakistan need to score quickly all inns and get to 600. we need as much time as possible to get 20 wickets here!
 
New ball taken straight away. Runs will leak now or wickets will fall. Hopefully its the first.
 
This is probably the most placid surface in SL interms of venue so trying to force a win is very hard here.

Pakistan will need better umpiring and will need to field well when we come to bowl to win this test match.

I think Mahela knew its a flat surface , he just wanted couple of early wickets, he knows this will remain a belter throughout.
