I gotta say initially I wanted to see Aus wipe the floor with England but this is kinda boring. So here is hoping its a even series or England pull out a great batting effort.

:))

Exactly what I am feeling.

Looking forward to England's innings.

Will they collapse or will they hold strong?

The match will come alive again when Eng bat.

Right now, they are just getting murdered.

I would love to watch BBC website and columns later today if Aussies don't lose any wickets. This will be fun. :yk

This is, by the way, the highest ever partnership at the Gabba. Hussey and Haddin waltz past Bradman and Hassett...

Wait, why wasn't that out? It hits his bat and then he stopped it with his bat whiel stll in play. I am pretty sure that is a double hit, if he stopped with foot...different case.

No, you're allowed to use the bat if it is to defend your wicket.

Another cover drive. Another 4. Hussey charging towards 200..

Thats tea. 5/436.

Pretty dire session for England. Well batted Hussey & Haddin.

Aussies ......

Hard Luck Strauss after employing 7-2 feild his side didn't able to restrict flow of runs these two batsman playing brilliantly .....bowlers
giving easy boundary here & there

Jimmy's morning session was brilliant but hard luck no wicket.....:)

wow I said that another session without more than 2 wickets and England will be out of it, but holy smokes...Huss & Haddin have been ruthless!!!

436/5 at Tea...leading by 176, things not looking good for England...

176 was the magic number for Pakistan in Sydney...we failed...looking very bleak for England unless some epic innings from someone comes...

Swann has got the beating of his life i huess!!!! Looks like the short ball has becomeandatory for him every over!!!

I think it's safe to say that this session belonged to the Aussies.

Last session of Day 3 left and then 2 more days . Australia should quickly get to 500 and then declare . I do not want England to be able to draw this match .

They have 2 days to bowl England out.

They should bat till lunch tomorrow if possible.

I don't think we will declare at all.

Just keep battiing because the pitch will get harder to bat on and would be easier to bat only once.

And grind their bowlers into the dirt, particularly Swann.

Go tweet some more Swannee!!!

England are exposed big time here. Their bowling is a bit over hyped and overrated in my opinion. Look at Swan's figures rubbish. Aussies are gonna win this with an innings and a day to spare.

You are right I guess i am overestimating England :afridi

So a 540 total we are looking at by the Aussies ? That would give Australia a lead of 300 . Anything above that is an added bonus obviously

Switched over to the Sky stream during the break only to see Nasser Hussain still complaining about the Hussey LBW

Get over it lol. England were a big beneficiary of Umpiring decisions in the ODI series against us. Don't see Pakistanis harping on about it.

It hurts. We complained abt ABCD, he was given not out twice

Here's Shane Warne on Twitter a little earlier today: "If Aust get a lead of 250 + you will see England players starting a new dance its called the please please rain for 2 days... we can't win!"

:)))

Bu..But accroding to whippy and RA people from their countries don't care about wrong decisions. :))

I'm sure English fans are crying their hearts out about that decision.

Not much batting left after this. If they some how manage to break this partnership then we might see a lower order collapse...

no need to declare really. Bowling conditions are getting better. These two are very set (we saw how hard batsmen found it to settle in). Might as well go for near 600. Then try and bowl England out under 350.

there's lot. This tail can add at least 50. england's bowlers aren't as threatening. Might as well take advantage. they'll be a lot more threatening quite likely at the start of the 2nd innings again.

Plus Swann will get better later on, so might as well make an example of him now and milk the runs.

'At the end of the day, better team should win regardless of the umpiring decisions'
