This is the flaw in our batting lineup - bar Ponting and Hussey (when in form) these other blokes tend to have the odd lapses of concentration.

You're a joke if you actually think 'Krapich' needs to be dropped from the test side. No matter what he looks like, he's been very effective at the top of the order and has gotten the job done more often then not.

But I'm sure you already knew that.

He's a hack and if you do a search for the the word "Krapich" you would have already knew that because I would have informed you of it!

North's dismissal looked suspicious. He walked upto Hussey and nodded in confirmation about something prior to that wicket delivery, to add insult, his shot selection was disturbingly disgusting. Spot Fixing Success.
 
Tea 5/159 - 33 overs left till stumps to survive

Said before,say it again,no dropping him.5 centuries away,two 50's in aus and has played only 21 tests.If they tune this guy properly,he will sure emerge as a leading batmsan for next 4 years.
 
We would've won that session if not for Marcus @#$% South. 4 down at tea would have been acceptable if not ideal. We CANNOT lose a wicket in this final session.

Next Milestone: 5/180 by drinks without losing another wicket

And then

5/200+ at stumps

A substandard day, but one in which we can regroup overnight and launch some kind of attack tomorrow to push for a 300+ score.

I don't know mate, if we go into stumps without the loss of another wicket we're still in it. Certainly not in a dominant position but we have a shout. The loss of early wickets and the loss of Twatson constrained our run rate, ideally we should have been looking at 270 or so on this wicket for maybe the loss of 3 to 4 wickets. Right now I'll take 5/230 or so at stumps.

If we lose either of these two we will do it very tough to make it up.
 
Swann - what have you done for the poms lately?
 
If Swann was making the breakthroughs he is supposed to with the old ball oz would be in massive trouble this series.
 
Things certainly not looking good for Australia. Will they even get 200?

Though I am sure this game is heading for a really nice finish. My money is on Uncle Bollinger running havoc with the ball.

They were talking about Swann's bruised toe and Tony made a comment about how he remembered a Pakistani legspinner faking injury to not play a Test in Sydney. When the doctor came in with a huge needle of painkilling injections "the little Pakistani leggie jumped off the doctors' table and said 'I'm playing, I'm playing'".

I wish CricIndia were not trying to be the Guardian with their "people write in with humourous comments" shtick. The Guardian is funny, CricIndia is not. They should STFU, tell us what is happening and cheer for India, that is all.

This pair are scoring at a rate of 3rpo which in the context of the match is acceptable to me. We cannot lose another wicket before stumps.
 
Decent recovery from Hussey after the carnage. Not sure this is as bad a score as it seems for Adelaide.
 
Why is Swann bowling that quick? Flight the Damn ball as Rameez Raja would say.
 
Best we can hope for is about 240 or so now - about 150 short as an absolute minimum. Unless Haddin can bat with the tail and do a Hussey.
 
New ball is due soon. Aussies are in big trouble now. Can they score 100 more runs
 
Innings defeat looming here for Australia. They NEED at least 300.
 
That looked soooo dead plumb...who said Harris could bat?
