I would open with Haris and Fakhar in the next T20I series. If Fakhar is not fit, I would open with Haider.

Get two attacking openers and ask them not to worry about getting out, just go out there and take advantage of the PP. No average and ranking flexing allowed.

Have Babar and Rizwan at 3 and 4, and if they think they are the best in the business they should be able to consolidate if Pakistan finds itself two down early on.

Teach Babar and Rizwan a lesson. Unfortunately, it won’t happen because in our minds, Babar and Rizwan is the greatest combo in history.

idk why you think that Rizwan will be good at 4. He was useless in MO that's why he was promoted to open & tukka chal gya for time being. He even couldn't crack batting at 4 in ODIs. I think he is better suited as an ODI opener over Imam-ul-Haq who is another tuk tuk star.

Imam has been extremely good in ODIs over the past 12 months or so, he deserves to be the first-choice opener. Rizwan would do well as an ODI opener, I agree.

If Pakistan can find a couple of good middle-order players and Haris develops his keeping, you can discard Rizwan from the white ball setup altogether but there is no alternative for now.

No, he will cost Pakistan at 4 more than he would lower down. Better to get your faster and more powerful players in before him and hope he isn't needed. If he has to come in, just tell him to swing for the rafters.

At 4 he could end up playing a good number of balls tuk tuking his way to fifties and keeping the score down 150/160.

Given the stats normally look closer to the opposite, it was indeed positive and overdue that the rest of the batting fired in the absence of the openers.

That is surely the first game in a while where RizBab have failed and we have still managed to win.

Thought of bumping up this thread. Today Babar played no role in the highest WC run chase for Pakistan but Rizwan was the main man.

This is what happened when you have technically sound batsmen like Abdullah and Saud in the team. They can play long innings playing risk free cricket that you need when chasing a big total. This is the best batting lineup Pakistan can choose at the moment and I am glad that they didn't opt for Agha and Fakhar instead of Abdullah and Saud.

They can still drop Imam and Nawaz for Fakhar and Agha.

You can have your opinion but for me Imam and Nawaz are better options than Fakhar and Agha at the moment.
