I kind of feel bad for writing a strongly worded letter to my tutor now :))

Do you ever write stupid comments at the back of an exam paper directed to the lecturer/tutor :))

Nah, I just emailed him telling him how bs it is how a student finds about a key course requirement for the course on the night before the last assessment on a Facebook page..

Why don't foreign born/settled Pakistanis speak their local language at home?

I do.Pakistanis in the UK usually speak English at their homes and elsewhere. They speak their mother langiage very rarely.I reckon it is just the environment there.A norm.

Shaz have you ever used SQL before?

Hopefully they do not repat the mistake again. If you never got the 60 then you'd have been in a bigger problem, but maybe they'd boost your score since they did not remind you.

Never used SQL only python, will be using MATLAB in september

Ah well, Facebook ended up being useful afterall. I'm glad I joined the group or else I would have been really screwed.

What do u ppl out there do when you feel completely drained??
Both mentally and physically exhausted??

Great!so after feeling thoroughly exhausted by brain and body you also start damaging your internal organs(lungs)by smoking cigarettes!
Smashing idea*thumbs up*;-)

I rarely smoke. Once in like 10 days maybe. That's fine.

I have good self control :moyo

Social smoking and social drinking aren't bad for health its only when you lose self restraint it becomes a problem.

an exam i sat many years ago was so hard nearly the whole group went and complained about the module lecturer, everyones marks got bumped up because so many people ending up failing those who passed by the skin of their teeth like moi ending up getting a decent mark.

we proper complained hard pretty much as soon as we got out the exam hall, but I found out a few months ago he died, he was only in his early 40s which was well sad. his heart was in the right place, he just had no idea how poorly he had taught the module.

Smoking usually becomes an addiction so better stay away from it!
Personally I hate ppl who smoke..

Either of these two

1) best to drink some cold water and go to sleep, sleep it off. Get your batteries recharged

2) go for a jogg or hit the gym, it can help relieve you off mental/physical exhaustion

I never sleep during day time. A rule as old as 15 years I would say. So I stay strong and wait for the nightfall. However, when it's beyond me then I simply put on my ventilation machine and rest for about half an hour - today was indeed one of those rare days that arrive once in a blue moon.

So I just wait even though I feel extremely tired once it's around six o`clock.

I did this after one exam, the guy was a seriously terrible lecturer and then set an incredibly difficult exam.

Nothing happened but he didn't teach the class the next year as the number of complaints increased.

Had a jokes lectuter that bumped me up from 40 % to 60% after I visited his office and demanded he rescore my paper. Turns out he missed out marking one whole page :))

Lie down and read, go for a walk outside, drink some cool water or green tea. I prefer not to sleep during the day.

You could take a long, warm bath, sing/dance/write (do anything you like and that's relaxing). Since you're a girl, you could paint your nails or something, that's always fun. Think about something pleasant or just go out and surround yourself with nature.

And that's when you are totally exhausted both physically and mentally? What a piece of BS!
Singing always helps. If you can that is. And since writing is something that comes natural, it actually is a good way to kick back and just do what you love. Going through what you've written afterwards does refresh people. :)

The only thing that comes natural when you are physically and mentally exhausted is a nap or sleep.
Not sure what kinda fussy world u living in.

Step 1: Cut out couple of circular piece from a cucumber or a grapefruit.

Step 2: Put on some classical instrumental construct on YouTube...violin medley or Cello.

Step 3: Close eyes, place those cucumber cut outs on your eyes & relax.

Works every time.

is it normal or even possible if somebody hates the whole world in general and still doesnt harbour hatred for any particular individual ?

I am not even sure how to thank God right now! A miracle happened in front of my eyes just moments ago! I thank my Lord! Four tough days avoided!

I thank God again and again and again and again and again and forever for this! He saw the disappointment in my eyes and the suffering I endured for an hour or so.

What had happened?

Nothing. Just stay quiet and hope and pray. :)

Yeah, the best way to face the condition.Allah is always beneficent.:)

But I am a very chicken hearted person so I cry a lot along with this..Probably it rubs fatigue and refreshes me..

Can someone tell me what Ahmad Shahzad did in the AFG game? The umpires were having quite a few talks with him...

And I am sooo loving my new avatar! XD

dropped a small jar of honey out of the top cabinet in my kitchen, parried it on the first take and caught it on the second before it hit the ground. feel like a ninja :batman:

I'll pull a mamoon:

I got hit on by a stranger today. It was the first time in that she was spontaneous and actually started talking (as opposed to making eye contact and waiting). It's a nice ego boost since she is decent looking but she is really boundariless and cupped my cheek out of the blue three minutes after I met her. That would be cool if but I didn't find her plain obnoxious along with that fresh of the boat broken german some second generation kids talk here, the talking like a cow with a chewing gum in mouth, the colourful clothing or the flashy nail polish. Is it shallow?

Funny, Only two hours ago, I let a plate fall but caught it with my left hand. Sadly, it was the convex side and I couldn't hold on to it. RIP.

Teach me your way, sensei.

haha, i also had a baader meinhoff moment the other day, i was watching a history documentary when the presenter mentioned a george orwell quote i quite liked, "the quickest way to end a war is to lose it"

i never heard it before, butlater i accidentaly clicked a link, and what was the quote on top... ill let you have a guess.

I would like to say that Orwell quote but, statistically speaking, it is more likely to have been "Jesus died for your sin".

She was probably worried about his sickly demeanour, crouched back and huge glasses.

Question, people: Does Google block any of your searches, ever? With that "The site you are trying to access contains content that is prohibited for viewership from within Pakistan" message? This page normally appears when you put on ExperienceProject.com (which I don't see why is blocked), but now Google too?

Ok... This is weird. You're not some stalker or something are you? That last line was just creepy.

BTW, the guy who watches both sports that I mentioned in my other thread, is well, not just... Any guy. *hint hint* So be careful.
