I don't know it's name but it's like a tower. You go straight up and stay there for a while. It's very high and the seat is very uncomfortable and small.

Yours?

I haven't got yours:79:

Mine is flying carpet:P

Have you ever sat in Shake off?

@ Blinding Light - There is a Cinnabon (if you fancy something Canadian) in Liberty or I have there is a Tim Hortons in Lahore too (don't know where).

In terms of restaurants you can try Cos A Nostra or Cheeky Joes in Y-Block Market (better for a social hangout). I visited last November after a period of 3 years and the Sunday breakfast scene seems to be the fad nowadays. Places like ETC are packed full of families and youngsters alike, definitely give it a try.

Describe shake off. I don't know the names.

It's in the start. The one which moves round speedily and stands straight and continues moving round in the same angle,it's horrible.(I know I am bad in explaining).:amir

It was horrible and I thought it's my last day:P

Just made the best sandwich of my life at home.

-Homemade spicy pulled pork cooked in a slow cooker then sauted with onions on a pan with olive oil. Used the panini maker to grill couple of slices of freshly homemade bread from my bread-maker made with sprouted rye seeds & wheat berries also loaded with dill weed, caraway and celery seeds.

- Next, threw in couple of thick slices of muenster & baby swiss cheese to be perfectly melted onto the bread. Next grabbed the pulled pork and spread it around plus added pickles, sun-dried tomatoes and few olives & sprinkle of spinach leaves.

- While this was being made, had some pastrami on the grill along with few sprinkles of shredded jalapeno provolone cheese. Added the pastrami with melted cheese n onions as the final buffer layer in the middle of the sandwich. And it's ready for me to devour.

She's so beautiful. I don't think I can eat all of her. I call it the Annihilator.

A good copy paste job with a few tweaks.

Why would you wake up so early in holidays?

And breakfast me kya khaya?

Haven't adjusted to the time here - but I'm loving the new routine so far (not a morning person!)

Breakfast mein I had 1 slice with leftover qeema and aloo/channay, a boiled egg and 1 glass of lassi :akhtar

And chai (no sugar) :))

Normally, I don't have such a heavy breakfast, but I was famished after my jog and hadn't had dinner before.

So there came a family to see my rishta. Utter displeasure by being interrupted seven-eight times as I went away to take my medicines.

They were finally relieved when I sat with them for the dinner, only to pull out the haazma drops from my pocket. Rejected!

:))

Ah.you would have surprised to see the over head bridges and underpasses

I would recommend you to go MM Alam Road and Fotress stadium..Joy land(my fav) and there you go..Mall of Lahore:)I think these places are good if you have chalked out a programme to go with your chums:P

MM Alam road has completely changed!! Just came from there - Lahore has become a centre for high-end shopping as well! Previously there was just the Mall of Lahore, now there's Xinhua Mall, Tenth Avenue, a couple of other places whose names I don't know yet!

And Kalma Chowk - I barely recognise it anymore! :O I was just joking with my family that they should build an underpass straight to where I'm studying, across the globe :))

Fortress has become very paindu. Full of lafangay and chichoray.

I agree here. Used to be a family place back in the day, now the crowd is too rowdy at Fortress..

I love the rides too and I am not ashamed to admit it. :ajmal

I love Joyland too! :dav But I'll wait for the heat to subside for a bit before going there :)

I have generally viewed all the female members of our forum as sisters (can't right now remember any past crush), but things are a bit different in the case of 96NotOut: she feels like my daughter, and no idea why.
I was going to be nice and say something nice, but...

To be honest, a dream caused this feeling. In it, I played as a maid and was combing her hair, made her an omelet and bread, scolding her to eat it all before driving her to the school.

After arriving home, I played cards in the kitchen with a fellow servant who has a crush on me.

WTH is this?

Topic-less thread

Okay, sorry. Answer this though, please: If you were my maid, why do I feel like your daughter? What did I look like? And did you imagine yourself as a lady?

Don't remember about how you looked like, but I was looking like some very old aunty. The dream suggests that I have been taking care of you since years and hence the affection.

Is the interview finally over:(?

Congratulations to this thread for reaching 50 pages. :14:

This thread has the potential to reach 2000 pages. At which point it will spawn its own religion

Mamoonism

Lol wrong thread. I got mixed up. Excuse my stupidity

I thought only threads with topics had potential, like the complexity of marriage one.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if we got to 2000. Hoping there's no limit.

Excusing... I had a feeling you messed up. :P

Okay... And I guess, yeah. :D

Enough of your interview! My turn:

Would you pick up a fight with me if MS Dhoni hits Junaid Khan for sixes in some match?

Fans fight you know, hence my curiosity.

Rawal we'd love you at the Dynamites too :vicky

Hmmm... Good one.

No. You're not Dhoni and I'm not Junaid. I can't hate someone because of who they like.

One of my close cousin sister, who is a doctor doing internship in a medical college fell in love with a surgeon working in the same hospital. But her family never approved this relationship since she is a malayali and he is a bihari (both muslims though) and bihar is a notorious place too. Like me,she is their only daughter with 3 other sons and her father is very stubborn. But his daughter was more stubborn and said if ever she marry,it will be only him him him(in a true filmi style :)) ). Her family tried their best but failed to persuade her. Finally, today was her nikkah with him. I am so proud that she stood strong in her decision and never betrayed him..:)

Good. Relieved. I don't fight girls anyway. I mean, who wants to get beaten up by a girl?

This story made my day:53::heart:.

Will there ever be such a brave female PPer who would post her pictures in the "post your own pics thread?" :sohail

I am deeply curious about how bl, kaayal, 96 and 083 look. :dav

Good luck with that. I am afraid I can't help you in this matter. :dav

Yeah, I know.

Just tell me though, if I walk up to a guy and just say something, how weird will he find it?

Mamoon once posted that he'd randomly walk up to people and say he loved them, yet he can't even muster up the strength to walk up to the girl he likes and ask her out on a date  #Manup

That was a dare. I wasn't serious about her.

Can't make a fool of myself I'm front of my cousin, I want to marry her.

Get over it Mamoon.

If I knew I had found the one, do you think I'd be sitting around just talking about it?

He will think you are besharam type. Guys don't like aggressive girls.

Lol. None of the female posters ever post pictures of yourself. Next thing you know you'll get messages like

"Missed you on Pakpassion today.

-Mamoon"

Same thing happened to me today, I think she was trying to sell me something..

Sorry, I missed this!

Thanks for the suggestions, bro! I visit Cosa Nostra every now and then (their all-berry yogurt is yumm!)..

I know of Cinnabon and Second Cup.... IS THERE A TIM HORTONS NOW TOO?! :O

I've yet to visit Butlers, though.. My sis went there yesterday ,and loved it :)

Okay, sorry. Answer this though, please: If you were my maid, why do I feel like your daughter? What did I look like? And did you imagine yourself as a lady?

This made me :)))

I read somewhere you write articles/essay, so thought you to be a journalist aged 28+ (joining date is 2008 and you look very mature as well :misbah2)

I do. It's been a while though.. The past 2 years I've written mainly fiction, but before that, I used to write articles and op-eds, blogs, whatnot. I remember I once wrote a piece on umar akmal .. that was something :))

There was a thread here called Creative Writing.. Brimming with short-stories and tips and whatnot.. We have a member called "Maula-Jutt" back then, who was pretty good at writing too - but that thread was pure quality.

As for being/seeming mature.. Well, I'm a senior now, so what else can one expect? :afridi

Wow, that must have taken some real guts!

Wish them all the best for the future :)

Namkeen lassi is great, but the sweet one makes me puke.

It was just yogurt blended with water. Slightly sweet, since it was Nestle yogurt. But it was quite refreshing..

I once posted a baby picture of mine there eons ago (back when I was dumb at posting). Deleted it, because it just felt weird to see my name associated with that thread..

There's a post you pic thread, Mamoon has made it his selfie thread...

He will think you are besharam type. Guys don't like aggressive girls.
He'll probably never ask me out, I have to do something. Besides, it's likely to be the last I see him.

If it's any help, we used to be really good friends.

Same thing happened to me today, I think she was trying to sell me something..

A girl asked you out?
