Thanks dear, any other option, if it does not work for bachelor?

There are quite a lot of commercial buildings on University road and GT road. They have shopping plazas on the first few floors and flats on the upper ones.
Mostly there are offices, but the buildings you see in front of Fawad Plaza/Chief, some do have residential apartments as well.

Find out any property dealer at university road, he'll find you an apartment in that area.

Yep, low for the army flats. The ones in this range will be pretty poor. How long are you planning to stay?

May be 3-4 months (maximum). I have a foreign scholarship for masters, If I decided to go, then I may not come to peshawar, but is confused about it.

Yes but you'd love the taste. Its amazing.

Can you eat dumba? Many people in Punjab find its strong smell repulsive.

Dumba is the best thing in this world. Yummiest meat.

Nobody can cook dumbas better than the people of KP.

DAT Mutton rosh :haris

its not the smell of dumba, but smell of dumba fat in which it is probably cooked.

So Mamoon recommend me other options, I shall increase my budgt? How much Army flats may cost?

BTW Charsi's quality is going downhill..

Shinwari tastes a lot better

I don't know about flats other than Deans complex and Army ones. You should contact some property dealer in Peshawar.

No doubt about that. Even did not tasted such yummy dumba in Lahore.

Why do you have to be pehalwaan to eat dumba? :ibutt

How can you stomach a freaking dumba?

I'm completely ignorant on this front - I know I'm not making much sense here.. but no, please no dumba for me... ever!

Don't they have anything non-dumba?

They have bakra too. Aah c'mon don't break my heart.

Its the best meat after chicken.

What's wrong with eating dumba meat and fat? It's the yummiest of all meats.

And they cook other stuff too. Chicken is an example, but who would go to Charsi/Shinwari to eat Chicken? :irfan

Bakra is so overrated. Full of bones and a bland taste.

Beef is unhealthy.

Dumba wins. :hamster:

Asking for chicken at Charsi or Shenwari is like asking for water in a pub.

Dunba is not bad at all. But once i had shenwari karahi in Islamabad and i was not impressed with half cooked meat. Friends used to talk a lot about it but perhaps that day we did not go to a decent place.

I am really impressed with pathans' stomachs. They would eat dozens of beef seekh kababs, later on would have a qahwa and digest it easily like a pumpkin.

Talking about meat items nothing comes close to paey. Even desi murgh is not that tasty.

One of my Pathan friend used to cook delicious Namak mandi mutton. Great taste !

You won't mind proper Dumba karahi anywhere other than KPK. Same goes for Chapli Kebab.

Too many poor imitations in Islamabad.

I used to have very good chapli kababs in Islamabad in fact. To date have never been able to eat anything like that from anywhere else.

Quality of meat matters the most in karahi/handi.

Lots of aged buffaloes who are at the end of their milking age are eaten away by pathans via chapli kababs.

Re: Topic-less thread

Ok, Thanks

And no info about rented houses etc?

Just go to Mamoons palace. I hear he is a generous host and actually posted his address in another thread.

Tell him I sent you and he might let you use the main quarters.

Hawk, you aren't a Pathan right? hindko speaking or Urdu speaking?

This Charsi Karahi thing sounds great! I mean, if there are pot brownies, why not Charsi karahi? I simply must have it if I'm ever there.

Is it Sativa or Indica?

I can't manage to wake up early if I sleep this late!

I've missed all of my classes this semester just because of this. Can't wake up :/

I'm a night-owl by default, but I'm trying to remedy my routine..

But that is unforgivable - why would you miss your classes like that? :O

I've become too lazy since the 7th semester (in 8th now).

Just don't feel like going to uni and waking up early, done that for 6 semesters continuous but too tired now :wajid

Coming to Lahore for a month.

Gun smoke BBQ steak and Lakshmi chowk ka takatak here I come.

Chars (Hash) is Sativa, isn't it?

Depends. The strains up north are all Afghan Sativa. By north I mean Gilgit, Chitral etc. A bit further south and its Indica. The version that grows freely over any empty patch of land in Potohar and thereabouts is usually Indica. And blends of the two exist too.

A good rule of thumb is, if it makes you mellow and languorous, it's Indica. If it makes you alert and fidgety, its Sativa.

I must make a confession. I have tried chars and it made me both languorous and alert.

Blend.

There's a time and place for both. Chillin' with the bros, watching a movie, listening to music, done working and need to relax: Indica.

Exams in two days and need to pull all-nights: Sativa.

How do I find out which one is which beforehand?

:80:

but but but......... why?

I have a lot of projects to finish, on a fellowship as well where I have to go three days a week. That leaves 2 days for university, but I prefer to rest.

Can clear the subjects with last week study :kohli

Ask the dealer. Insist on the one reserved for diplomats and parliamentarians etc.

Don't ever buy from the beggar at the street corner.
