Top to bottom Evolution was one of the best shows WWE has done this year, every match was excellent & served its purpose on the card, the battle royal could have been a bit more interesting like the one in 2018 though :asadrauf

Great opener, the tag was excellent to and the crowd was responding well to the GOAT after the thickos finally caught on to how we all agreed how petty Tiffy was towards Charlotte who explained the situation in more detail recently, I thought Trish looked phenomenal in the ring and has done so each time she has returned and Rhea / Iyo were having their best match until the finish.
I only saw the first and last matches and the end of the Battle Royal. Both matches delivered in spades. First match was a fantastic opener, and Naomi cashing-in elevated a very good match to a great match. Stoked for Stephanie Vaquer too and I hope she becomes a champion in WWE soon.

I'm happy they did this PPV but I wish they did it on a less packed weekend. Because I had zero motivation to watch this show after watching that 5 hour AEW PPV and SNME.

It would be pretty dumb to have done the injury for that purpose only if am honest, not really working into an angle either and seems rather silly imo Because whenever a MITB cash-in is done, it’s a surprise regardless. So am not sure if this is true, then again, H is constantly feuding with online smarks.
Bro I just want what's best for him. Which is a one---maybe two---year rest

Gunther v Punk looks good. Cena v Cody will be what it will be. Ironically enough, I would have liked to see Reigns v Rollins, because that's one match where Rollins does shine, but that is now likely heading towards Reigns/Jey v Bron & Bron. Though again, I would prefer Reigns v Breakker.

The less said about Jelly Roll, the better. The women's matches look strong with the exception of Jade v Tiffany which will likely not be good. That leaves behind fringe matches like Priest v Black, and one big car crash match. Could be a ladder or TLC for the SD Tag Titles involving 5-6 teams, considering that's where it looks like it's heading.

Overall, it's shaping up to be a strong card. But if I'm being honest there isn't a single match I am excited for besides Gunther v Punk.

If they book Reigns v Breakker, I'd be excited for that.

@RedwoodOriginal I am a sucker for Gaunlet matches and they are not done often which makes them such an underrated attraction; Bron Breaker proved he got IT, and is genuinely the next big thing. That was one hell of a match and it would have been a great experience for Bron’s engine, as good an athlete he is, he did feel the pace here and this will help elevate his conditioning, at the end of the day, he can control what happens in the ring & he killed it.

The build up has been very microwaved if we are being honest which is not acceptable for a major event

Stephanie cut a great promo at the end of that win and was interviewed by Big Steph.

I thoroughly recommend Jacy Jayne vs Grace, I follow NXT closely so this was one of my main-events to do Shawn’s great work, if you want to be sold on what he’s doing there, and on someone like Jacy; just watch the match and Grace was phenomenal as well.

The rest of the matches were strong to and even Jade Cargill had a good outing with the bells & whistles.

Basically, a Eugene was getting the shovel in another thread and came here looking for vengeance with the same ol attacks on this business, then the AEW version of Christian showed up with said jobbers mama.
Missed it and probably for the better. Hate jobbers who start trying to hijack every thread and start going into business for themselves. Good to have APA around :ROFLMAO:

Bah gawd what a pop for Roman Reigns; good luck to TKO re-negotiating his contract.
Whatever Roman does is compelling tv.
The more I look at that promo from Heyman, the more I fear Seth's injury is a work.
I bought ticket for an SD 3 weeks away and I really really hope I don't have to sit through a 30 min rambling Seth segment.
Hearing Cena's not advertised for the show but will probably make an appearance as a surprise. Randy, Roman, Cody, Punk all advertised for that one though.

I would go for a dump during Seth’s segment so it’s not all bad

The kind of spotlight he's getting tells you he is set for big things. I agree with you, but just being given the opportunity to carry the match tells you alot about how they view him.

And he has progressed very rapidly. It was only 4 years ago that he debuted in NXT..

You know I was just thinking that next week's RAW would be the SummerSlam go-home show. 2 weeks of build for Punk v Gunther is disappointing, eventhough the match sells itself. And all because H wanted to stick it to AEW by putting Goldberg's retirement match on the same night as All In.
