Honestly, just like Angle he’s another dude if he went into MMA early he’d be a top draw in UFC.
He has the personality as well to draw crowds which is very important otherwise no one wants to watch your fights.
If Olympic level wrestlers want fame while 4/10 is at the helm of WWE, best to go into MMA. Pro wrestling still causes injuries like mma would- but wrestling is the best base for martial arts easily and this fool won’t be there to bury you.
But that defo makes me a bigger fan

Btw speaking of, Kurt Angle is such an icon that one of the best UFC fighters at the time (he’s finished now) just 2-3 years ago used Kurt Angle’s theme as his walkout song for a very long time. His gimmick in UFC was also a “true American wrestler” type amidst a sea of foreign fighters:
Crowd was getting into it with the you suck chats as well haha.
He also modeled his character seemingly on a lot of pro wrestling aspects. He was about to be cut by UFC for being boring, so he took on an actual “heel persona” and became universally hated but also secretly created a fanbase who loved that heel character saying the most controversial things outside the ring.
Former champ too so not like was some undercard nobody.

Gotta say, miss characters like Johnny Morrison in WWE. Charismatic characters with unique personalities getting the spotlight rather than every guy just dressed in black and part of some random xyz faction and jobbing to Seth and Cody 24/7
