Third birth outside hospital in Punjab in 1 week, This time it’s Faisalabad after Raiwind & Lahore

Following two similar occurrences in Lahore recently, another case of a woman giving birth on the road after being denied entry to a hospital was reported in Faisalabad on Saturday.

The Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Tandlianwala on the outskirts of Faisalabad turned away the expectant mother from the medical facility citing shortage of facilities and blood.

She gave birth inside a ambulance outside the hospital.

Her relatives told Express News that she was denied admission and a bed by the hospital administration because of “inadequate facilities for a normal delivery and shortage of blood”.

The administration advised them to take the woman to the District Headquarters Hospital.

After the woman gave birth in the ambulance, she and the newborn were eventually admitted to the Tandlianwala hospital.

The event comes on the heels of two similar instances in Lahore when a woman had to give birth on a street outside the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Raiwind on Tuesday and then another delivery in an underpass near the Ganga Ram Hospital on Friday.

You see, making Pakistan makes someone look like Mr. Jinnah. Eating Pakistan makes someone look like Mr. Nawaz. :jinnah :sharif

These all families should do stone pelting on next hearing of Mariam nawaz in NAB court.
One good click, and thats all it needs to grill PML-N for next whole month on media.

tu waqi may rula de ga.
dont put the emoji of Quiad and Allama Iqbal with these crooks.
I feel your anger. Especially when they sold He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named when he struck people out in the open. But if they can quote the rules, they can obey them.

You can't really bash 1 party for this. Every party and dictator that has ruled this country is to be blamed for such poor quality health care.

and makes you think taht the next incoming party will provide us with good healthcare?

This will continue until we have a stable govt. Parties need to interact with each other and work together.

I know it's still far from perfect and need more improvement but somehow PTI govt is still able to deliver in health/education/police and heading toward right direction without a decades of governance experience like PPP and PMLN. I love democracy and i know it takes long time for democracy to flourish but a democracy should be able to at least show me a step toward right direction in 9 years time to give me a hope but i failed to see any step toward right direction since 2008.

One thing that PMLN has enjoyed is the bad performance of PPP. PPP has been soo bad in the past that anything PMLN does it looks good

I remember the law and order situation back when PPP was in power. Shesha smoking was legal, alot of crimes were taking place. They even let go that lal masjid abdul aziz.

True and Zardari/Bilawal were afraid of visiting KP during their govt but now they are visiting KP every other day and doing jalsas without any issues.

Only ANP and PPPP came with clear stand against Taliban
and they suffered ...

we can call them coward for not coming to KP, but then what should we say about parties which remained quiet or gave taliban supporting statement.

I suspect that this issue has been going on for quite a long time and is only really gaining media attention since it's been reported elsewhere recently, albeit late, it's good that such occurrences are being brought to the public limelight and hopefully this results in positive change.
