He's got a myriad of court cases to tackle first, especially in New York. Since state laws aren’t subject to presidential pardons and the accusations of falsifying financial records date before his Presidency - he can't claim executive privilege.

Slightly different. Let me preface this by saying there should've been a manual recount in Florida but I think even with that Bush may have won. The reason the SC rejected it was because Florida was changing its statutes. But there were other irregularities that were a bigger deal that Gore didn't bring up and should have. The recount stuff was a bit of a smokescreen.

The irregularities being ballots in certain counties and a lot of African Americans being made ineligible to vote for no reason. The other thing is the State Secretary was a Republican then as well so there was a lot of mismanagement that took place without even getting into counting of the votes.

But SC has already allowed absentee votes to be considered as long as they were sent before a certain date this year. In how many states will Trump fight? If it's close and Biden ends up on 270 then I could see Trump taking issue with Michigan or Wisconsin but if he loses PA then he has to fight against two states basically. And his argument that mail in ballots shouldn't count won't hold. He needs a really good case of why he certain votes shouldn't count.

That being said, Trump is as shameless as they come. I expect it to be anything but a smooth transition of power should Biden win. I don't know what Trump will try to pull though.

Yeah and that only market is White America, he's never had a platform among minorities and this country is increasingly becoming majority minority. In the event of a tie, House votes for the president while senate votes for VP. House only has 1 vote per state though. So just because there are more Democrat house reps doesn't mean Biden is likely to win. Republicans could have a majority in more states.

So there are tie breakers in place.
