But I was told we got played. Cue 1000 word essay.

Its good to know. Don’t give more credit to the govn than they deserve esp about discussing internal policy with other countries and creating a ‘Plan’, also got to say every Desi cares what American govn thinks, irrespective of spewing hate on them.

Do you believe in this handle? And other govn handles of usa.
Seems like the other thread from Diplomat was binned.

You know how statecraft works: everybody wants to save face or have deniability when the excrement hits the fan.

Yea, and understandable irrespective of them knowing or not, hopefully Indian foreign ofc is also this smart

The US State Dept tweet is customary arms length/face saving/plausible deniability measures, that is to be expected. That is why they are called diplomats.

The tweet has made a fool of the Indian government and those who peddle their blatant lies but continue with lame execuses.

Indian government under Modi has lied so much in recent times, you can never believe anything they say now.

Is there an article where Indian govn said they discussed with American govn regarding this?

Please make sure it has Indian external ofc saying this and not media.

Can anyone show me where the Indian government has officially said that US knew about this ?

Or are y'all just going to vent out your frustrations of the past few days on this thread.

No surprises here.

We got played by Trump’s promise that he will play a mediatory role. Our celebratory dhol baja was premature because he is not going to do anything.

Whether or not the U.S. government were informed beforehand is of no significance, but I am sure we are going to fixate with this irrelevance for desperately obvious reasons.

It's massive balls if India did this without even informing US. However, there was a US official in India days before this happened. I think US is trying to save Trump here after his rant about mediation

An article from 'The Diplomat' suggests that Pakistan PM Imran Khan and the Pakistan Army leadership were told beforehand about India's move to revoke article 370:

The End of Article 370: How Pakistan Surrendered Kashmir

"...Multiple diplomatic sources have confirmed that Imran Khan and the Army leadership were told of New Delhi’s plan to revoke Articles 370 and 35-A of the Indian Constitution during their visit to Washington last month. However, no one knew when the Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would make the move..."

"Plausible Deniability"

You dont understand the term.

Blowig up trees, shooting down F16 and this amongst other lies are not strategic but easy for a government to continue fool the masses who are already brainwashed.
