Officially who stands as motm?

The opposition was west indies, so doesnt matter.

But we won because of Babar. In a chase of 250+ you need players to lay down the innings like babar who did so.

Khushdil finished the game, good for him. Played a good cameo, but babar was the standout player.

I habe watched alot of cricket from 2010-2015, and during that time we lacked a player who could play a full innings. These khushdil cameo players always existed like afridi, umar akmal and razzaq types, but big inning players did not exist.

Top performance by Babar yesterday, he scores 100s in odi cricket as if they are piece of cake.

Him becoming a career high run scorer in odi now depejds on pcb. If they play more odi or limited number or them.

Great gesture from Barbar and excellent display of what it means to be a leader. It shows that he is someone completely comfortable in his own shoes and isn’t insecure, which is fantastic for Pakistani cricket.

I was very impressed also with Babar’s demeanour in the post match ceremony. He was oozing with confidence, smiling, happy, and generally giving off the vibe of a leader in total command of his team and his game. This is a country mile away from the timid Babar when he first took on the captaincy. Mashallah!

Glad he did this. Khushdil is the reason Pakistan went over the line. Babar got out as usual after achieving his milestone and not taking Pak over the line.

nice of babar, it may not have much on an impact in the context of being a random odi against windies, but I'm pretty sure it would mean a lot to kushdil to know his captain appreciated the effort, small gestures like these can help motivate people and in the long run that will count more.
