[VIDEOS] Pakistan players in Big Bash League 2025/26: Performance Watch

Funny - the so called "champion" Pakistani players are always unknown and obscure without many games on their CV (to play and get exposed).
With regards to unknown ask your emerging team and for Farhan ask bumrah who got trashed all over the park by the same unknown player multiple times.

So a few random boundaries in a lost cause can make someone a "champion" cricketer. Got it.

Your previous generation couldn't even defeated India in any world cup game's. Lol

:klopp :kp
Learn some grammar. I didnt want this thread to be polluted by you lot. As usual always chest beating for no reason. You guys literally are a buzzkill.

Also stop thinking others are idiots, your chumps got smashed regulary. Why put a “world cup” filter? Just to make a useless chest thumping point. Indians are total clow....

Maaz Sadaqat won a trophy, he didnt play anything in a lost cause.

And for Farhan, i call him champion because of his attitude.
Farhan is averaging 20 in the vastly inferior BPL.

Pakistan fans need to accept that the current crop of players lack talent.

Pakistan is a slightly better version of Bangladesh.

Babar fans like you want us to accept this lie.

With Babar at the helm you would lose against teams like USA, Zimbabwe. That is never going to happen again.

We have a rich pool of young batters coming up in including but not limited to Maaz Sadaqat, Minhas, Imran Naeem. And lets not even talk about the flood of high quality spinners.

Advise your international players so that they do not embarrass Pakistan in front of the whole world.

From your favourite yawning captain to Babar, Rizwan , totla Javed – all are the same.

Don't be hater.

Pak is RizBar! RizBar is Pak!

RizBar fans stay strong! Ignore the haters.

These Pakistan players are in BBL just for meme content .

First Shaheen Afridi was removed from bowling in between his over
Then Rizwan got retired out during a very slow Innings
Now Smith denied a single to Babar Azam to keep strike with himself

:klopp :kp

Comparing Babar to Farhan, Saim, Agha is complete stupid. Babar has more runs, 50s, tons than all those combine. Get a life!

I am not a Babar fan.

He is bloody useless.

But Farhan is not some world-beater.

Lose against Zimbabwe and winning by 10 wickets against India, I would take that anyday.

What an absolute shameless person you are to post this. Lol. As shameless as the players you consider your heroes.
The same shameless person shamed India and their 1.5B population. How many have done it before? So shame is on you and your parents for creating you.

Cricket is a team sport, and the synergy between batting partners is crucial. Today Smith took on the role of the aggressor and the match winner, and Babar was the stabilising force and glue that held the innings together. After Babar got out the next three batters failed pretty badly. Smith/Babar partnership was a perfect blend of aggression and stability, showcasing how batting partners can complement each other effectively. Australia youth is lucky to watch Babar and understand what proper batsmanship means.

For those who believe that T20 is all about hitting sixes, were born immaturely as cricket followers. Cricket is a nuanced game that requires strategy, skill, and a deep understanding of the sport.

It's rare, if not impossible, to see two batters in a partnership both scoring hundreds off 50 balls, especially against a competitive bowling attack.

He deserves to get picked in the IPL. In the last 11 BBL matches he has averaged 87 and struck at 177. IPL teams have selected BBL players in the past who have done far less
In BBL other top opener's dont play for comparison.almost half the ipl coaches are aussies , its difficult for him unless they feel he can prove himself against head, abhishek, buttler, salt etc.

THIS

I was surprised Smith did that.

But, I can see why he did it. He was striking very well. His strike-rate was 200+ and Babar's strike-rate was 120. He wanted most of the deliveries I guess.

Smith did what was right for his team to win... Nothing wrong here.. He was striking better and he had full authority over the bowlers so he took charge... He did the right thing and it paid off.. His team won.. Babar did anchor on the other end, which was needed as we all saw once they both got out, Sydney's wickets begin to fall quickly...

Hasan Ali drops Rizwan on 2 runs. A total dolly catch.

It's been embarrassing seeing the way Pakistani players have performed in this league.

Adelaide Strikers vs Melbourne Renegades, 38th Match

Rizwan got another failure... Bro just go back to Pakistan now 17 off 14 balls.

He’s going to go to Sri Lanka hoping to wriggle his way into the team through PR

Sticking to crease is not a role or Batter Speciality in t20 cricket. You make it look like no one else can stay at crease lol any tom dick can score run a ball in t20 coming as opener.

after a big patnership , when match is over , usually few wickets fall , its not like babar was holding one end and he thought no one else down the order is capable enough , thats how he lead Pak team as captain. as a consequence even today Pak is struggling to make decent middle order. Babar thinks he can pollute Australian team with Same approach. Smith Shut him down good

who plays anchor at opening spot in t20 cricket? 🤣🤣 Come on now

The wickets fell because Smith finished game already. It happens in Cricket. not because Babar was holding one end lol nobody asked him , im sure certainly not asksd by SS team management. its a self assumed anchor role at opening spot

Perth Scorchers vs Melbourne Stars, 39th Match

Haris Rauf will be in action later on... his team batting first

The team reflects in a way the state of a nation as well, especially if the sports is popular enough in a country and played for some time.
That's why our teams find it hard to beat European, western teams, be it hockey, cricket etc.
As the country has been ruined in the last 5 years, so is the team reflecting it as well while before they were mostly ok, with one period around 2000's where they were pretty good as well but never could dominate continuously

LOL.... understand cricket... Smith was playing at 200+. There was no need to go mad at the other end chasing 190... I hope you understand what i said

Obviously if you dnt go , other guy will take responsibility. cant laud babar for that.
He did nt have to play 3 dot balls trying to score a nice fifty. He had 4 balls he could have taken charge but no he did nt. at that point Smith was nt going at 200. It happened when babar failed to keep up

This is where cricket has now changed, you need to go ballistic irrespective of what’s happening at the other end.

It’s an inconsequential T20 league game, if Babar is content on playing second fiddle here aswell, then that speaks volumes about him as a player.

Smith always wanted the charge that is exactly why he took over that over where he hit 32 runs...

Because team needed it. It was nt exclusively Smith's role. And he Delivered

Other guy wantes to play for gallery
More like Smith worked out that the donkey at the other End isn’t going to do anything so I might as well chance my arm. He started this assault in the 2nd/3rd over and just kept going.

Also Smith probably cautious of losing the opening spot because Babar was the flavour of the month for Sixers before his arrival.

SS should demote babar. thats the logical next step

Smith is preparing for Olympics. He wants a spot in the team.

He has no time to tap it for singles. Things under control. We'll take it deep and win it in the last over.

End of a sizzling BBL season for the Rizwan.

10 matches | 187 runs | 18.7 Average | 102 Strike Rate

Star overseas player for the Renegades
@daytrader

This is the reality of your boy when he doesn’t get that opening spot he cries, screams and dies for.

He’s a failed T20 player who was forced to open so Misbah can keep his job how. He was a failed T20 opener even with a 40+ average and had to be dragged out.

You should have listened 5 years ago when I told you this guy is a scam, but you knew it well and kept at it.

"BBL taught me that Aussies are very straightforward cricketers. Being part of the BBL for a long time, I’ve seen how big leagues work, players don’t fear big names like we do in Pakistan team culture; they believe purely in capabilities.
Playing with international players, everyone is judged on impact. Steve Smith’s actions prove where they see you.
Babar and Mohammad Rizwan also need to rethink their capabilities and role in modern T20 cricket."

Rana Naveed ul Hassan

Sure bro, i understand why you guys are so angry.. It is babar after all, he is under scrutiny.
Come on dude, if you favorite cannot even hit out in such domestic leagues against domestic bowlers and goes a run a ball, how will be even put bat to ball in international?

Isn't the whole point of known players playing such leagues to improve their game and practice?

Haris Rauf has proven time and time again that he should only be selected for australian and South African bouncy pitches, otherwise the run machine is just a 12th man for the opposition.
overall, nothing will change in Pakistan cricket. Where a duffer like Wahab Riaz is selected for a management position multiple times, only your connections matter. From the grass roots to the highest echleons in Pakistani society, it's the one constant thing

This Big Bash league has exposed the reality that Pakistans best players are at best Category C, D players in other countries. The PCB decision to strip Babar, Rizwan and Shaheen of their A category contracts was 100% justified.

İt's not just their capabilities, it's their cancerous, ridiculous personalities and diva behaviour as well
Rizwan didn’t sign his category B central contract and demanded an explanation for why he was demoted.
