Actually I have an idea. Whether there are muslim bias in India can't be answered by Indian Hindus or Pakistani muslims. Our perspective will always vary and it will be a never ending debate. I think the only people able to answer this question are Indian muslims themselves.
So I tag Indian muslims to come to this thread and let us know if you all get unfair treatment in India. Are you a Darra Hua Mussalman. Be honest though, else it will beat the purpose of this brilliant thread.

Most of the Muslim posters who have commented are against extra judicial killing of beef eaters. It seems sensible to me.
With regards to people's feeling on Ghauri, Gahzni etc it's not a big deal to me as it is you. People seem to always take a biased look at history. You seem to think they were all evil and destroyed temples, yet overlook the temple destruction done by your side.
I'm happy to accept Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists leaders all had some flaws.
You are hung up on temple destruction but it's well documented by historians that Hindus destroyed their own temples during war too. A very quick example is when marathas destroyed a temple that Tipu Sultan actually had rebuilt.
Did you notice the complete radio silence on the topic of respecting religious beliefs of Hindus ?

You are a prime example of a "dara hua Hindu." It is rare to see a majority so preoccupied with seeking respect from a minority.

Brother, Irfan Pathan is a public figure and he need to play to the gallery sometime for his bread and butter. So he being Dara Hua Mussalman is understandable.
However, you are anonymous here and got nothing to fear. So no one can give a better unbiased perspective of Indian muslims than you.
Like in movie Sholay, Basanti's izzat was in Dhanno's (the horse) hand...here Bharat's izzat is in your hand brother. Please answer this simple question honestly - as an Indian muslim do you get discriminated?

Insults happen all the time. Many are swept under the rug because people fear for their safety or want to avoid causing discord. They absorb those insults.
You talking as if you know what's best for a secular country is an individualisitc take and not democratic. By Indian Constitutional law, an Indian Muslim has as much right to eat beef and claim that there is nothing wrong with it as an Indian Hindu has to revere the cow as their Mata. The Muslims are not insulting the cow by eating it. They are giving the animal their own form of respect and appreciation to their God. You seem to think otherwise.
You should be happy that, just because there are more Hindus, a beef ban is applied in the majority of states.
But don't think that forcing people to obey a whimsical law prohibiting beef has anything to do with secularism. Accept that Hindu law is more prevalent in India, not the Indian Constitution, which is secular. The beef laws can easily be argued to violate Articles 25 to 28.
Indian Muslims don't cause much ruckus over this because they are being respectful and charitable. The majority are willing to let go of their desire to eat cow meat because they want harmony.
You, on the other hand, should start claiming that the country is not secular but follows Hindutva or whatever law appeases your arrogance.
This thread seems to have died down a bit. Lots of people were going non stop about muslim treatment in India but when asked to take a stance, pin drop silence. This is called - ekdum se waqt badal diye, jazbaat badal di..oh bhai.
This is why I say to people, stop lying. It can only take you thus far.

So based on the anecdotal treatment of one muslim Indian we can deduce the reality of Muslims in india? I have never been a victim of crime where I live. Does that mean crime doesn’t exist where I live?

Where did I say crime doesn't exist in India? Ofcourse there are incidents where innocent muslims are targeted. No one denies that. Similarly I can give you hundreds of incidents where hindus, christians and sikhs are attacked by muslims as well. It is a country of 1.5 billion people and you will keep hearing these law & order issues every minute. However, to generalize that India has muslim bias is gross generalization.
I have lived in India, in muslim dominated areas of old city Hyderabad and Wasseypur in Bihar. I am well aware of things that happens there. They are all flourishing as a society let alone being victims.
Hence you will see muslim leader like Asaduddin Owaisi always maintained they are happy in India and Pakistani's must not poke its nose. Just like you are not seeing any Indian muslims willing to take a stand on this thread.

I have been to India. I have a lot of family based in India. We are not exactly concerned about the state of Muslims of India neither do we deny the horrible treatment of Pakistani minorities. Neither of us have any moral high ground to criticize each other. The problem though Indians pretend the problem doesn’t exist and it only happens in isolation which I don’t believe to be true. Muslims have to walk on tight rope and laws seem to favour Hindus over Muslims. We don’t elect political leaders that are openly racist and discerning to minorities. Although you can argue political parties are just dummies and Pakistan army is in charge of the country and they are the ones funding extremist groups like tlp and ttp that make life hell for our minorities. I wish the likes of TLP didn’t exist. They are the true ideological equivalent of BJP just they don’t have any real power. If Pakistan ever becomes a true democracy, these extremist groups will be wiped out in no time from the face of Pakistani politics and their supporters will disintegrate. The are emboldened by the support from the current establishment.
What are some of the worst crimes and the approx casualty list of Muslims that have happened under the BJP rule in the last 10 years ? I don't even need any source ... just according to your opinion.
Lets start with genocide or ethnic cleansing (Like what happened to the Kashmiri Pandit population in 1990.) Did something like that happen to Muslims ( in your opinion)
