There are enough worries about your team, I say you focus on that, and we'll focus on ours. Sadly for you guys, your worries haven't gotten any less since you've gotten Test status.
 
what happen to all these mighty team all of a sudden....now YANKEES getting sweep by friggin Angels .
 
what can i say dude....Bangladeshi cricketer doesn't know much bout Steroid and how to used them to get ahead...and Shahid afridi, Razzaq is still a teen ager eh ;)

yes 2 players...who didnt plat T20 WC, niether in most of our test victories....but wait you've only won 1 test havent u...against a ravaged Zimbabwe side.
 
Yes, we suck, but we aren't as consistent at it as you guys yet ;-)

lol guess u guys having a field day huh...it's ok we understand the pain....of loosing...
we have had so many chances to put some points up there...if it weren't for Rashid latif/some indian and sri-lankan umpire....oh well..

We need to add a quickfire 50 (atleast) tomorrow morning and give the bowlers plenty of time to bowl the Windies out. We will miss Mashrafe badly :(

There seems to be a lot of banter going on between Pakistani and Bangladeshi fans. I get the feeling that the recent rocky relationship between the cricketing boards of the two countries may have some influence on this. I can't wait for the World T20 opener next year. Its certain to be a fiery affair. Be prepared to be knocked out :)
 
Bangladesh finish off strong here at 321/5 with a lead of 252. Match still wide open - chance of some overnight rain plus chance of some scattered showers throughout the day.

with some scattered showers pridictions I think Bangladesh can only bat for maybe half hour and get to 280 and declare. But if the rain is on before the match starts then make WI start the day and try to knock of 2-3 wickets early in the day and match will end by tea or an hour after tea.

He had to be carried out of the field at the start of Day 3 after getting injured while bowling. At first it seemed as if though he damaged his ankle which was very worrying as he has had a surgery on each of his ankles. A third surgery could mean the end for his career. He was flown to Barbados for further tests and it is unclear how serious his injury is at the moment.

Yes. Ash needs to get more involved and guide Shakib. He was looking very uneasy in the second innings.

If memory serves me right, i think we have face off each other once in 99 world cup...i kind of forgot what was the result tho...world cup is different stage dude...remember that Team Bangla is bound to upset a big team every once in a while... ;) Let's hope u guys are NEXT :)))))

judging purely on BD performance against the pre-strike WI A team, i'd say this "D" team is stronger. WI A managed a first innings lead of 53, this team had 69.

Brave declaration by Bangladesh. They are looking for a collapse as the top 4 of WI are debutants (I think). Bangladesh can win it if they get couple of early wickets
 
Bangladesh should have won 5/6 test where they struggle to take tail-enders in the last moment...so i wont be surprise if same thing happen here...

Bangladesh have had Aus/Nz/Pak and South africa on their knees...just couldnt apply the finishing touch...
 
It would be a travesty if Bangladesh recorded their first test win in this particular match given the nature of their opposition (which is no fault of their own).

But really a test win which is ten years in the waiting should not come against such farcical opponents.
 
This WI side is showing Guts!! They have not practiced together. Put together at the 11th hour. Hats of to them fighting all the way.

As for BD, actually for any playing 11 (test team), when a strike bowler is out it becomes even more difficult to take 20 wickets. Others must pick up the slack. Managing overs with 4 bowlers puts huge amount of pressure to contain the runs and get wickets at the same time for the other bowlers (unless there are whole bunch of alrounders in the team).

Still 30 overs to go. Let us see what BD can do. I think it may be a draw at the end.

I agree with you 100%, ive been a bit annoyed with bangladesh recently due to their boards attitude...but those things come and go i guess. I really want BD to rub windies in it today (and it seems that will happen). The windies deserve everything that they are getting.

Tried to swing a full toss and was struck on the pads, was there an inside edge? The umpire's finger went up just as they appealed for an lbw, was out if he had missed it but we need replays to confirm. It doesn't matter, they have won

there were 9.5 overs left in the match.

Bangladesh win by 95 runs
 
congratulations to Bangladesh and their fans, thanks very much for rubbing windies face in it, they totally deserved that.

I disagree. without any practice they kept fighting and almost pulled it off. And this is not their original side we all know that.

Congrats on the win but still not convinced. Its only their 2nd test win, both against weakened opposition. That too, they somewhat struggled in the sense they lost a first innings lead. I thought couple years ago this Bangla team could actually challenge the current Windies and maybe win a test...but I doubt that now. I think they can only really beat half-depleted teams.
