Bridgetown is a result oriented pitch. Hopefully rain stays away and we get to see a good contest.

For some reason Kohli and team management are inclined to play Shami as our 2nd seamer alongside Ishant. Not sure if that's the right choice, should go with Umesh.

In the last 14 years, India is the only team that hasnt lost a Test against WI. Australia & SA have both lost one while Pakistan & England have lost 2 Tests each.

Apart from reverse swing Yadav don't know how to ball, he just bowls fast without focusing on line and length. While Bhuvi can easily pick 2 or 3 left handed batsmen easily in his first spell.

WI pitches ain't gonna swing.

But there could be reverse swing when ball gets scruffed up.

Bhuvi hasgot notthing to offer other the first spell when the cherry is hard and new

at his pace in his second and third spell got nothing going for him

And dont complain of Indian not producing fast bowlers if we prefer them over mediums in tests

He's a leg spinner. we should be able to hit him out of the attack and force them to overbowl and tire out the quicks.

i have to say, there has always been something kinda 'boring' about india's team for as long as i've been watching cricket for, though it's hard to put into words.... could be that lack of an elite pacer, or maybe its more of a compliment than anything anyway (they're always quite solid and dependable, especially in the early to mid 00s)
