I just watched Virgin Territory... after a long time after it's release.
Piece of junk, waste of time.

The Prestige - what a movie, what a movie.

I wasn't expecting to like it when I saw it a couple of months ago because of the massive hype and everything but damn.. did it deliver or what. Fantastic cinematic experience; brilliant story, brilliant directing, brilliant acting.

We watched Quarantine.

Pretty good film - hand held camera type film like Cloverfield etc. Plenty of killings and creepy.

7/10.

There was hype for this movie? I bought it because it was on sale and I hadn't heard of it before. Hype means a thread gets created here

Yaar I got the ending. I have it on DVD just because it's by CN. The ending was great - yes. I love "twist" endings. But it wasn't incredibly innovative like Memento. Memento was extraordinary with its unconventional plot structure, use of flashbacks, and how everything came together like a jigsaw puzzle!

Prestige is a good movie but imo - compare it to Memento and it pales in comparison.

I think by "hype" he means it got great reviews from the press. Expected really as it came after Memento.

Dostana: not good
Fashion: nice but too long
drona: poor, concept was not too bad. could have been made better.

Quite probably one of the best I've seen. Its one that you can't watch more than 3 or 4 times, unfortunately, but its absolutely SUPERB. :afridi

with the advent odf 300-400mb mkv high quality movies, i am on downloading spree! has downloaded more than 100 movies in last one month alone.....

just finished watching "Next"...decent movie but could have been better...Nicolas cage was good.

just watched Untraceable, not a new movie, came out in january of this year. I liked it.

Guys, how is 'Dostana' for a film:13:? Starring Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and Yahya Ibrahim.

Watched Bolly film 'Yuvraaj'. It was alright. Nothing special or particular apart from Anil Kapoor´s work, which I absolutely loved:)!

I just watched Yakeen a film from 2005 starring Arjun Rampal, Priyanka Chopra and Kim Sharma. Was a remake of the Hollywood film Shattered in 1991. I would love to see the original now. Good time pass movie. Needed a break from studies and the constant India/Pakistan crisis in the media.

Watched The Mist..brillilant, eerie horror..well worth the watch.

9/10

Could you share some of Katrina Kaif's dialogues with us? I believe Subhash Ghai has outdone himself with this film

Can´t remember any:22:..... But it wasn´t her real voice, for sure:). Kind of dubbing was done.

I believe Salman plays a really "hardcore anti-family man" in this film, sounds like a tough role to play.

Axecellaaant movie !!
Have heard tons of good reports about it

it's on my 'must see' list, along with slumdog millionaire.

I watched 'I am Legend' last night - Will Smith.

The dog was the star of the show.

5/10

We watched a film with Will Smith in it. It was that rubbish that I cant remember the name of it.

He plays a futuristic superhero who can stop trains and trucks an can fly.

It was utter garbage, not funny, just cheesy with some terrible acting. 3/10

August Rush - 7/10

Burn After Reading - 5/10

Forgetting Sarah Marshall - 7/10

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry - 7.5/10

Requiem For A Dream - 6/10

The Vanguard - 6/10

21 - 7.5/10

Not enough cheesy dancing around trees for you? :D

Hancock is the film

I thought it was a decent film - started off really well BUT then fell apart the 2nd half of the film

That movie was a big disappointment. Bradd pitt was funny but that was it! Except for him a very forgetful movie.

Saw 4. Did not understand the ending, can anyone explain?

Watched Hancock the other day - utter garbage 3/10

Then Batman Dark Knight - really enjoyed it 8.5/10

I thought there would have been a review for Rab ne bana di jori when i saw that Saj made the last post! :))

I saw it with my wife the other day. It was appalling. Why is Shah Rook considered a movie star is beyond me.

Saw Kung Fu Panda and Trans Siberian. Both pretty good. Panda one was much better when Panda was on screen which is probably 85% of movie

Don't watch Babylon A.D.

You have been warned.

being dragged to the cinema to watch that tomorrow :D

Watched Bollywood film 'Rabb Ne Banadi Jodi', starring Shah Rukh Khan. Difficult to give any rating but still I enjoyed watching it. But you will be disappointed if you go to watch expecting it of being a film that of SRK´s high standards.

Watched most of "Bachna ae Haseeno" few days back.

One of the best Indian films of the year for sure.

Watched "Make it Happen" today. By the same people who wrote "Save the last Dance" and "Step Up".

A girl who tries to get into dance school fails at the audition so she ends up working at a night club. The place has a cabaret dance show. If you have watched "Coyote Ugly", then you know what will happen ... 'nuf said.

Hmmm, I'd give it a 7/10 for chick flick of the week.

I have such low expectations of a bollywood movie that i found the movie just fine (then again by bollywood standards). But my friend, who is a seasoned pro when it comes to bolly movies, did not like it at all. He said its nothing compared to movies like Mohabbatien.

Mohabbatien :31: I found this movie lot better than mohabbatien.

Been going through some hong kong titles lately. I watched SPL kill zone, Flash Point, Ong bak and the Protector. Awesome films and a must see for any martial arts fan! Tony Jaa and Donnie Yen are way above Jet Li and Jackie Chan.

Just watched Pride and Glory. Amazing film. 9/10
Watched The Day The Earth Stood Still a few days ago, it was alright, pretty good. 7/10

Just watched Yes Man.
If you are tired bored and need entertainment its an ok movie.
Its got Jim Carey after all.
And of course it has Zooey Deschanel.
She has amazing eyes and an accent to die for :D

I'm hoping to watch Cass tonight about the black West Ham Utd football hooligan - looking forward to it

After watching the trailer I'm dying to watch that film! Sounds hilarious! But there are many films which have the most exciting trailers but turn out to be extremely dumb when you watch them, so I don't know what to expect. :inzi

Watched Cass and I must say I was disappointed.

This film is a true story about an adopted afro-carribean boy sufering racism in 1970s London and then growing up to become the ringleader of the notorious Inter City Firm which were the main "firm" of the West Ham supporters.

The guy who did the role just didnt look right and his acting wasnt great.

Worth a watch for footy fans - 5/10

My wife dragged me to watch a chick flick called "The Women".

The irony is that it our wedding anniversary and we watch a movie about a lady with problems at home with her marraige (affair) and how her friends help her to cope.

I've had to watch a few chick flicks this week. Eish.

Well, one thing you enjoyed was the popcorn I guess.
Or did you not even have popcorn?!
