Saw Burn After Reading too. Quirky

Brad is quite hilarious

The love guru- 0/10 or I might just give it 1 and you know why....Jessica baby :P.
btw I don't mind adult comedy movies, but still it has to make some sense.

Singh is King - Akshay is a great actor, plus it had her

Tropic Thunder a while back -- absolutely hilarious. Robert Downing Jr. as a black man was pure comedy :)))

We watched The Mist.

It was ok, I was expecting it to be a bit more scary, but it was watchable - 6/10.

I watched that, it was quite low budget and low on the scaryness factor but I like how the story develops.

the best part was the ending... scared the bajeebers outta me... with that big ass monster in the end.. i think th emovie was decent in its genre as i already knew what to expect b4 i saw the movie 7/10

Dance of the Dead - a low budget zombie comedy similar to Shaun of the Dead. I really enjoyed it. Acting was very good and the simple special effects were fun to watch.

- Perfume - The Story of a Murderer, not a bad movie and had a different storyline and unusual ending.

- Burn After Reading, quite funny and Brad Pitt's character was hilarious.

Watched Himesh Reshamiya's Karzz last night. Although I haven't seen the original, I didn't like this one too much. It felt as if I was watching some 70's hindi movie. Himesh wasn't that bad though.

well i saw Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels awsome movie very funny and i also saw In bruges also a very good flick.

well i'd give the movie a 8 because it is one of the rare movies which made angry on that woman and wanna kill her before she was actually killed and the ending was a surprise never expected it. All in all a brilliant Steven king adaptation

and i also saw a bollywood movie called A wednesday! have to say one of the best bollywood Filsm ever made just AWSOME!

Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher. It's not your everday bollywood film. Very hollywoodish in terms of pace and length of the movie. There is little spin at the end too.:|

I saw "Wednesday" last night. Good movie.

Best part is "it has no songs and its not long".

well i also say that a couple of days back and man can that guy act. just the way he portrays himself in the filmwas brilliant and horrifying at times.
Protecting his kid and the way he rejects the oil contract for million just because the guy said something, which most of the people wouldnt even take as an offence was exhilirating!

also saw the bank job nice flick and saw lock stock and two smoking barrels very good movie again!

I thought his movie rubbish and he acted a loon!

Saw the latest Bond Quantum of Solace in Leicester Square yesterday. Typical Bond experience but there were scenes reminiscent of the last Bourne movie and, through the live TOSCA opera scenes, of Godfather III. Still, it's worth another view, I'd see it again.

Next movie I want to see, but at the IMAX is Eagle Eye.

Watch it again.

This gentleman is the most supreme actor the world has ever seen. He spent a year out of movies to learn to make shoes in Italy. He's very private and rarely gives interviews. Hollywood is undeserving of someone with his enormous integrity. I love his accent and class

Rest of the parts all on youtube.

PS see what Clooney says about him and makes him blush in the first video (cant remember which part) - that he's basically the best actor alive

I don't think he was protecting his kid, he was taking offense to it personally because he probably felt insecure about the way he had treated his kid. One of the most complex and original characters i've ever seen in a movie and Daniel played it perfectly. There aren't a lot of actors who could have pulled that off.

Great vids DM, especially the first one i loved watching it. Yea as actor's go Daniel's basically in another league right now, maybe in the 80's it was De Niro but right now Daniel is it.

Agreed Spar, and all the parts are well worth watching, I love the sheer reverence the rest of the actors have for him

Well u are right, protecting is not the right word and neither is insecure. Poeple like daniel plainview dont feel insecure he said in the movie 'when i see people i dont see anythin worth liking' 'i see the worst in people henry'.
Well he did indeed took that as an offence and in a way he didnt want H.M Tilford to think that he is finished or something like that and they would take over from here but people like plainview always want to be in control. A feeling like insecurity is just lame i guess for plainview.

oh dear, i'm planning to watch this tonight

watched rise of the footsoldier the other day

very violent, very british and very good

Tak go ahead and watch it, Filo must have been having a very severe stroke during it.

lol I'm kidding Filo, I'm aware tastes are subjective :)

(except in this case, where it's scientific fact)

Truely subjective... the guy got an oscar for that acting, aint no joke... it is a beautiful movie

No thanks, I'll leave that to you DM :)

I'd rather use my time elsewhere. As for Clooney, respect his opinion but it is just that, an opinion. Prefer Clooney's acting in Syriana, and if it's loon-role that's cause for praise then I prefer Bardem's psycho in the superior movie "No Country for Old Men' - the deserved winner of the 'best movie Oscar'.

Watched Mongol last night, its quite a good movie except for the flexible (hint rubber) swords and Temujin/Genghis Khan's manicured hands.

I wanted to see that over the summer but it wasn't at the cinema long (was in Montpellier in June when it was released). Is it a sub-titled movie, McB?

Yeah, unless you understand Mongolian you have to use the subtitles. Pretty good movie, the director has done a good job.

Watched Bollywood film 'Heroes'. Was just about right:).

My ratings:

Six out of ten.

Also watched 'God Tussi Great Ho'. Well, it´s not as bad as some might think it to be. It´s quite a funny film, and it has an interesting lesson to be learnt:). Giving it any ratings will be quite difficult for me.

Watched quantum of solace... i was tired and slept through about 10-15 mins of it..

but it was just okay..too much action was happening, villain wasn't evil enough. To be honest it felt flat...

yes it was part 2 of the casino royale and solely about revenge over Wespa. But, i was so bored.

Body of Lies - Action / Adventure movie. Leonardo di Caprio is a CIA guy who is sent to Jordan to track a terrorist. Russell Crowe is the head CIA. There is a guy who acts as head of security of Jordan who acts very well and a pretty (Iraqian?) nurse that di Caprio falls in love with. Quite an interesting movie, but at the end of the day, just a normal action movie ...

'Iraqi' dude, just for future reference, in case you have to use it in the outside world

Watched 'Golmaal Returns' yesterday. Is a good comedy film:). A lot better than the previous 'Golmaal'.

My ratings:

Seven out of ten!
