Sixes per innings is a great metrics to evaluate the best hitter; with say a minimum of 100 sixes in Intl cricket as a cut-off. Also total innings played with minimum 5+ sixes is a good metric to remove one-ball wonders.

As per both of these criteria, Rohit is at the top, followed by Gayle. Many others are good but they are either too maverick like Afridi or have done good in patches, not in nearly every match like these two have done.

No one beats these two in consistency of hitting sixes in almost every match. They are also at the top with total innings with minimum 5+ sixes.
