Gul has been brilliant but its still a decent start for WI, we need wickets.
 
imagine Gul and Asif bowling on tandem. It'll happen one day fellas. we can only hope. For now Rao will do fine!
 
when the change bowlers come now its crucial they bowl well...or we could see big runs in the powerplays...sarwin looking more relaxed...
 
Another good over from gul,hope inzi gives him one more over to see if he can pick up another wicket.

The Pakistan team management are showing desperation in trying to force Rana into form. So happy that Umar Gul has come back and its business as usual.

dont forget our original Mcgrath, even before Gul and Asif came into ODI cricket, none other than Mr. Rao Iftikhar Anjum himself.

more than fine. this guy should be a permanant fixture in our ODI lineup. This obsession with pace and swing over line and length must stop.

We really need a wicket here, our bowling at the death is really very poor.

can't believe they kept azhar out, we need as much fire power as we can get without akhtar and asif there, and azhar looked like a wicket taker in SA.

I think the Windies batsmen are just sizing up Rao before trying to launch into him :)

Rao may not have taken a lot of wickets, but he bowls an immaculate line and length.

turn up your tv volume, its not so bad really.
 
west indians are looking in good position,, both batsman are set and they have a left, right arm partnership going..
 
Now comes the tricky part. We will have Rao bowling from one end, and from the other we will need to introduce a spinner. There is still plenty of power play to come. I suppose Hafeez might bowl next until the end of power play. Do you think we should have 20 overs on the trot of power play or shoudl we try a different strategy?
 
Anyone noticed Gul making faces after deliveries?
I hope he is not still carrying any niggles.
 
I'm not a Rao fan - but hes looking his usual 'reliable' self. Thats what is needed right now

because Inzi doesn't know how to use an attacking leg spinner in ODI cricket. he said as much on the Geo program with Imran ( not in so many words).
 
pak is bowling tight overs now and wI will need to take shots if they want to propell the run rate ...i feel awicket coming very soon guys..inshallah
 
Nice stop on the boundary by DK - that would have been 4 last year!
 
la kar lo baat. Amir Sohail already on Inzi's case for bowling 7 in a row by Gul. Its just 7 overs man. chill.
 
YOu have to hand it to DK - he forced his way into the WC and gets a start - I think he will repay the selectors.
