Will Joe Root beat Sachin Tendulkar's record in Tests for most runs?

Now ignoring the schzio posting, Root has 10 hundreds in his last 22 games, reckon he can hit 50 test tons.
Root didn't Even Scored a hundred till 15 test in australia, now scored a century against second string bowling attacks as Australia don't Have service of Cummins and Hazelwood .

This is another example of " Do runs against SL count" thread.

Same here for FTB root.

:klopp :kp

Root - Please give me a road along with Second string bowling attacks otherwise I won't score a century 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 :klopp :kp

Naa sachin is a petty man.

He always says that his records should only be broken by indians only.

Thats why outside of india, many of us look down on him. His lack of education is visible with his dumb statements
Difference in class.

Look at Wasim tweet when Starc took his record

and this will likely be Sachins
:sachin tweet when Root breaks his

Tbf Sachin was very graceful regarding Root in his reddit posts, he called him a great batsman. Obviously.

Root has called Sachin the best ever I think too.

Greats recognise Greatness, the fan manufactured rivalry on this site is sad to see therefore.

So if you mention "Indians" , it makes you petty? Sorry but you're the one being petty about this
If u mention that you only want ur country men to get ur record that makes you petty.

Such statements will never be seen by an Australian or an English legend.

Than again, tendulkar never opt for higher education, so such jahil like statements are expected from such a person

The difference between greatness and fame - Tendulkar is always out and about to prove a point (typically via a tweet) cos he seeks fame and mental security, whereas Root has proved everything and doesn't have to say a thing which is why he is a great. Less is more.

Oh and Root was never caught cheating and punished in Cricket like Tendulkar was. Root neither evaded taxes nor committed perjury.

You guys probably don’t know, but that “Petty” Tendulkar after contributing the seed money of 1.42 crore rupees to build schools for the poor kids, contributes over 35 lakh rupees of his own money every year running those schools, blind support organizations, and mentally challenged people. I know it because I contributed some money toward his schools too so I know who contributed what. Petty people are not givers, not at that scale. You might want to rethink calling him petty.

As far as him saying he’d be happy for an Indian to break his records, it merely means he wants an Indian batter to do well because that would mean India is doing well. I don’t see any pettiness in that. I’m sure he will congratulate Root when he overtakes Sachin’s run tally. You guys read too much into nonexistent implications of statements.

So pathetic if true

@Devadwal where is your king in this list? 🤔

Joe Root breaks Asad Shafiq’s long-standing Day/Night Test record against Australia, scoring 138* and setting the highest individual score by a visiting batsman.

King Scored 7 century in australia against full strings bowling attacks.

King Scored century at Perth on greenish pitch (2018)

While temu can Only Scored on highways that's too against second string bowling attacks.

So pathetic if true
I think this statement is what he said during a function at Mumbai hosted by the Ambanis or Mumbai Indians just after his retirement. I remember watching it and he was asked whether he thought anyone could break his 100 100s record. Perhaps Salman Khan asked him this, I'm not sure. Anyway he said blahblah and that he'd be happy if it was an Indian who broke it. He picked Kohli and Rohit at the time to do it. Choosing Kohli wasn't shocking because he was the future at the time. But for me as a Rohit fan, that was pleasantly surprising.

So the question was firstly about 100 100s and not Test runs. Secondly, it wasn't such a big deal the way it is being presented as if he is busy right now poking a Joe Root voodoo doll with pins :ROFLMAO:
